I really fail to see how he is a bully when Andrew and Ryan provoked the situation? The whole house turned against them which I don't think they expected but I don't think he's a bully. Don't get me wrong, I don't particularly like him but he didn't do anything that vile. I'd be pissed off too if someone just started saying I was a snake and then another one shouting about another person.

Andrew and Ryan aren't either really, just moronic dickheads.

They provoked it but he didn't have to square up to Andrew or try to act the big man. It's not the only thing that's totally put me off him throughout the series but I don't think he's shown himself to be a particularly nice person at all. There's being pissed off and there's actually acting as if you're gonna punch someone, he says he wouldn't have done that but it didn't half look like it. That's my view anyway!

Yeah, I wouldn't call Marco a bully, but he is utterly repulsive in every way he acts. "I don't need the money, off to Miami, f*** dis shit" *swans back in 30 minutes later with his tail between his legs*. Stop trying to act like the big man, it makes me so angry.

Andrew didn't come across well this episode though, for someone so intelligent, he seems to think he's got it sussed but there was nothing subtle, sly, endearing or anything about the way he dealt with it. Anyone could stir shit up by sitting everyone down and saying "you're a snake", it hardly took the brains I thought he possessed.

Georgina lived up to her potential tonight for sure, her dead-pan posh insults that sounded so unthreatening.

"I've heard that joke before."

Can we just end this whole "Others" thing now. It was dead on arrival and now the housemates have visual proof. Just put this twist out of it's misery.

Marco is insufferable. <_< We're not even a week in and he's already solidified himself as being one of the very worst housemates in this show's history, for me.

His show-mance with Laura makes for completely horrendous television, simply put. I don't even feel like it's worth discussing their cavorting in any greater depth. Honestly, bring back Steven & Kimberly - all is forgiven! :drama: :kink: #openit

His fake as f*** accent is getting more grating with each episode. It's quite clear that his true accent is "posh", because he can't help but lurch back into it, being unable to keep up his "street"/"rude boy" accents 100% of the time.

Bragging about his "free veneers", blowing £250k on prostitutes/cocaine/alcohol binges*, breaking out of the house to "go to Miami"**... does he even hear how lame he sounds? :')

Threatening to "slap security" while breaking out the house / becoming uncomfortably aggressive towards Ryan (who did deserve a certain level of animosity for his behaviour, but Marco took it way too far) / then breaking out of the house... only to return, and then confirm to the housemates that Alex/Jackson are in another house. In previous series, housemates have been ejected for less than this sort of behaviour, or at the very least get a strong verbal warning.

Why were Marco & Chelsea even allowed to return, after willingly breaking out? One aspect of the Channel 5 era of Big Brother that I find annoying, is that even after 5 years on this channel, they're clearly still making up the rules as they go along. It's transparent in its inconsistency. It feels like there isn't a rule book, quite frankly! Once you walk, that really should be it. No second chances to go back.

* It was kind of disgusting how this information sparked Laura's interest to start making out with him. Eww.

** Chelsea also made himself out to be a complete bellend in this episode. "This is my house" (erm...), and then hardly any time later, he's making pacts to quit the show and swan off to Miami. K, so much for it being your house :').

On another note, I feel like some of you have really missed the point regarding what Jayne was saying overall. The conversation wasn't "about black people", nor was it "Awww black people can be nice sometimes!" in tone in the slightest? Jayne's discussion was about a carer having mistreated her mum, and that the removal of this carer had the unwanted result of her mum being branded as "doesn't do well with black people", i.e. not wanting to be looked after by any carers who are black. This was a statement that offended Jayne, explaining that her mum didn't fit that description at all. Her point was essentially to say: the fact that the carer was black had absolutely no bearings at all on the decision to dissociate, and that the issue was purely down to the fact that the carer hadn't done her job properly. Ergo, all that mattered to Jayne was that her mum had a carer who would do their job properly, and that the colour of their skin obviously didn't come into the equation whatsoever.

So... how exactly is that a "weird conversation" that makes out black people to be aliens? I really don't think Natalie heard or properly grasped what the conversation was actually about at its core. Or, she just decided to hear what she wanted to hear and purposefully turn it into a drama - who knows. Whatever the reason, she jumped off at the deep end and ultimately made it into something that it wasn't. I feel that the result of this "race row" is the implication that white people have no business at all to discuss racism, to criticise racism, or to even mention black people in a discussion that actually highlights a white person's disgust at racism.

Brilliantly said Jay! I've never seen such an arrogant, cocky d******* than Marco. It just shows the danger of spoiling your kid with loads of money, he literally thinks he can get whatever he wants and he's always the top dog. Same goes for Chelsea, don't go around calling it 'your' house and interfering unnecessarily with other people's businesses straight away. They're both walking around like they own the place and its quite frankly disgusting.

I would like a triple eviction of Marco, Chelsea and Laura, then the show might become more interesting to watch. At the moment, I'm still not really enjoying it because the whole thing is focused on the twist and there is little exploration of the natural developments aside from the intentional headline/screentime searching of the Marco/Laura thing which I really do not need to see and I couldn't care less about.

Also, does Andrew know what fun is? Has he actually cracked a smile once? Surely he is not a normal person.

Charlie is also not 31 like the website states lol, she definitely looks in her 40s. Plastic surgery always seems to do the reverse by ageing people.

"Bully" may be a tad premature but he has those qualities from what I've seen so far. Intimidating people because he's not happy with them? How is that the right way to go about things? It's unnecessarily aggressive.

Jay's post is absolutely spot on about everything, worded far better than what I can say.

Jay's post sums up my response to this episode (and black-gate) perfectly! It has been such a wild week already. Absolutely bonkers TV but despite it not seeming like a "normal" BB series I am loving it. The one thing that is different is that the people just seem more ANGRY than usual. They're all out to kick off and argue with people and do so very easily. Natalie is the perfect example, always wanting a reason to get riled up :drama:

Marco is vile. Aggressive, intimidating and plain annoying. His fauxmance is unbearable to watch and it doesn't help hag Laura is the biggest, fakest wet blanket going. On the other side, players like Hughie, Evelyn, Georgina, Jane are really growing on me and becoming my faves because they're so weird and wonderful amongst all the HATRED AND ANGER.

Oh and have we seen that Marco & Laura at least met up with each other before the show. And I stumbled across a clip of 'Young, Free and Single' that Laura was on that also had one of the twins. And then also Jackson and Charlie seemed to know each other when he walked into the other house?

I haven't bothered with Big Brother for years but I've just seen that Georgina's in this?! Whaaat.

I absolutely loved her on Taking New York, was gutted it didn't get a second series (but not surprised, because I was basically the only one watching :'))

Think I might have to start watching this because of her haha, she's amazing!

I literally hate the majority in there. awful people.

I only really like Georgina and Evelyn. :(

it doesn't help hag Laura is the biggest, fakest wet blanket going.

OMG I LOVE GEORGINA !!!!

This series is mad, caught up on last night and it's just all so argumentative but I kind of love it regardless, always so much going on.

Georgina massively grew on me last night and became a fave and tonight Hughie has massively grown on me and became a fave.

This series is actually throwing up quite a lot of interesting and still somewhat likeable characters. I'm not even totally hating Natalie right now as irritating as she is, the fact she just bellows for no reason all the time in a house where they're mean to be quiet makes me laugh but gosh, she's TERRIFYING.

Omg that Hughie / Natalie arguement !!! I love how they're supposed to be quiet and secretive and they are literally the loudest set of housemates ever

Georgina <3333 She said exactly what I was thinking re: Marco - Look at how HE talks to other people.

Gah this sexual stuff. How repulsive are these two lmao :/ AND STOP LOOKING AT THE CAMERAS WHILE DOING IT :drama:

Hughie is easily one of my favorite housemates of the last few years.

Omg these open it teas :puke: Laura really comes acoss as a cheap tart indeed but Marco seems so sleazy with it, not to mention up himself and needlessly aggressive towards the others. I doubt they'll last long thankfully, the housemates won't like them so they'll be nominated and the public won't so I can see them having a fair chance of being evicted soon. At least one of them, I bloody hope so anyway :/

Georgina and Hughie are really coming into their own, definitely my faves alongside Leteysha and Charlie. Georgina is unintentionally so funny and seems by far one of the realest in there but she isn't boring with it.

I feel like I'm watching a different show to everyone, usually I'm on Buzzjacks wavelength but not this series  I adore Natalie, she's so funny and Hughie just screams and goes crazy .. He's a little odd too imo.

I really like Georgina though and how she stood up to Marco. The scene with Laura and Marco made be feel sick, like disgustingly sick. How embarrassing for them both, hope they both go sharpish.

Dear god this season would be great sans Laura and Marco. What was with Marco going off on Georgina?! "You don't want to make an enemy out of me!" f*** right off.

Laura is toast on Friday; I have a feeling they will just let Andrew/Ryan nominate.. but even if the nominations are regular nominations she would surely be up.. Marco too probably.

I'm still not 100% sold on Hughie. All the screaming and yelling was really annoying to listen to, I had to turn down my TV so it didn't sound like some domestic disturbance. It is clear that Natalie is singling him out and giving him the evils. I'm not a fan of hers either; if you're going to start something.. have the decency to finish it off.

Andy and Georgina were the breakout stars that episode.. I actually feel a tad bit bad for Andy. He does seem normal but can't really relate. I think he's going to struggle. Jackson can f*** right off tho.. is this how he's going to win? Take the moral high ground that this "isn't a game". YAWN. I hope he somehow ends in the Other house and doesn't make it back as a regular housemate. Him or Alex. Both preferrably.
