Thor / Loki / Space / Earth = always a good combo. I'm in the minority of preferring the followup, but this was still a fantastic introduction to the characters!

Here's Capitain America's best frenemy. The villain of Winter Soldier, but also a loyal member of #TeamCap in Civil War (And also the main reason FOR the war).

Bucky received points from 8 people, and missed the top 10. Here are the names of the members who snubbed him, as a gift to Regina's wrath: Jimmy Jam, Chez Wombat, RobinJuanPersie, Iz and Froot.

Just missing the top 10 is another Guardian of the Galaxy, this time, the tree-creature Groot, who is both scary and cute all in one.

'Ant-Man' is really good fun! I'm pleased to see it do well in this countdown  'Thor', however... Nahhhh. It's good and watchable, but amongst everything else, it pales and shouldn't be this high, imo.

Bruce/Hulk should be top 10! Such a good character. Gamora is brilliant as well! She has so much more potential to majorly kick ass and I think Zoe plays her very well. Hawkeye is alright. I find him either a bit boring or really funny, he's really good with the bow and arrow though!

Bucky/Winter Soldier is very deserving of his points. He's fast becoming one of my absolute faves, too. Sebastian plays the role incredibly well and I thought 'Civil War' was all the better for having him as the main character tbh! Groot is phenomenal though. He's such a badass but also, so damned cute! <3

As for those who snubbed him, I'll deal with you scabs of society later.

JAMES BUCHANAN BUCKY BARNES IS NOT A VILLAIN.

Unless you're Iron Man.

I was kinda basing Spider Man off the version shown in his own films (originals not the pointless remakes), and I was struggling for characters :P Though he'd definitely get points for this newer version too, he was wonderful in Civil War.

I wanted Groot to be top 10  Amazing character, though all of the main crew in that film deserve spots in here. The right top 5 in the films too

'Captain America', 'Ant-Man' & 'Thor', all fantastic, I do find the first 'CA' highly enjoyable and a good orgin story, okay it's nowhere near as great as the follow ups, but still a really decent start. Chris Evans was perfect casting and honestly can't imagine anyone else playing the role. Along with other great performances Hayley Atwell, Tommy Lee Jones, Hugo Weaving & Sebastian Stan. This was also the first time I even heard of Sebastian Stan and has made me a fan and really glad they brought him back for 'WS' & 'CW', an awesome actor. Hayley Atwell as Agent Carter was also great casting and glad we got another strong female lead. This deserves higher on here, personally I would swap it with the 'Thor' movie.

'Ant-Man', Yes I was pleasantly surprised by this and Paul Rudd's performance was brilliant, I've always enjoyed his performances and glad he's part of the Marvel Universe, he's definitely one of my fave actors ever. The movie itself was fantastic and felt like a breath of fresh air with it's unique premise that totally works in every way possible.

'Thor', Another one I always enjoy and Chris Hemsworth was again perfect casting, okay I know people complain about the earth setting, but I personally enjoyed it and thought it was really funny with the just right amount of comedy and action.

#5 Avengers: Age of Ultron // 8.04

Highest: Josh (10)

Lowest: Jimym Jam (6)

Finishing a couple of places higher than I expected, and think it deserves is Age of Ultron, the long awaited followup to the first Avengers film that disappointed fans and critics alike, but was still a satisfying watch with plenty of action and great writing. My main issue was that it felt a little too hollow and not personable enough. The Hulk/Widow love story pleased nobody and The extensive amount of screen-time used to give Hawkeye an uninteresting backstory was not what most fans wanted. Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch were also slight let downs for some people, as even though they were accompanied by fantastic visuals, they felt a bit soulless. Luckily Scarlet Witch's character was hugely expanded on and made a lot more intriguing in Civil War. With the bads out of the way though it really isn't a bad entry and it's clearly popular here! The best thing about it was the setting up for Phase 3, which is really exciting in the final scenes.

#10 // Peter Parker / Spider-man // Score 79

(14 points from Ultraviolence1989m, 13 points from Jimmy Jam, Chez, RobinJuanPersie)

'Awesome!' Spider-man has only just been introduced to Marvel Cinematic Universe, but makes a huge impression already. He was made out to be a cameo in Civil War, but his part was more prominent than anyone expected. And his part plays a huge part in balancing out the light and dark of the film. Civil War is one of Marvel's darkest entries yet, and Spider-man (and Ant-Man) both played integrel roles in bringing some much needed humour and fun to the film. I know we've seen a lot of Spider-Man reboots/films over the past 15 years, but I think it's safe to say EVERYONE is excited for Homecoming!

And the runner up for most popular Guardian of the Galaxy is....

#9 // Peter Quill / Star-Lord // Score 81

Beaten by a Raccoon for the most popular from the sub-franchise that is GoTG, is Peter Quill, one of the most hilarious heroes we've met. Chris Pratt does an amazing job here, and I think a lot of the film's joyous watchability is down to him. Word on the street is that he'll be joining the Avengers with Rocket, for Infinity War!

I find Starlord ot be highly overrated, but then, I never took to GotG until Carol Danvers joined them.

Though her character felt a bit empty in Age of Ultron, Civil War gave her a lot of depth and complexity. The conflict she has with her power is very interesting and compelling.

#07 // Rocket // Score 95

(12 points from DJHazey and Jonjo. 11 points from Severin)

Age of Ultron much too high for me, I found a bit of a let down, i've watched it a couple of times since, but it still doesn't match the first one for me, but I am growing to like it more, and maybe a 6 was harsh

Shirtless Chris Pratt :drama:

Winter Soldier is great, have to agree, the Captain America set of movies really has been the most consistently good, despite actually think CA was the worst movie at one point, rewatching it now, i see how great it was, though I think Thor still beats it in my fav first ones, and I've had liked to have seen both Thor films higher.

When i put Spiderman that high it was mainly for Andrew Garfield tbh    :drama:

Black Widow to win!!

'Winter Soldier' is outstanding! I know a lot of people seemingly prefer 'Civil War', I just think the consistency and the incredible choreographed fight scenes are brilliant. It seems to just flow a lot more cohesively than not only CW but a lot (if not all) the other Marvel movies, imo.

I don't know how I feel about 'Civil War' being top 3 so soon after it's release, but hey, it's amazing and I'm sure I'd see it as a genuine contender in the next year or so. But YAY for both 'Avengers Assemble' and 'Guardians...' <3 Phenomenal films and I won't mind which one wins (although 'Guardians' would be slightly more preferable - I just hope CW doesn't just due to the recency of it).

Scarlet is a great character. I'm really pleased with how she was shown in Civil War and it's so refreshing to see someone be so against their powers and managing to overcome her fear and put them to her advantage! Rocket should've been an easy top 5 though!! What a shambles that is :(

Avengers - Age Of Ultron is really good and did enjoy it upon first viewing, but after watching it a few more times I can see some problems with it. Firstly while the action was amazing as always, it did seem a bit over the top and with so much going on in one frame, it was kinda hard to make out what was what. While I did like Scarlet Witch (whose so much better in Civil War), Quicksilver did seem as rather a pointless addition, he was there just to be killed and wasn't given any sort of character arc, and while many complain about Black Widow and Hulk's sudden romance coming out of nowhere, I do remember some chemistry between them in the first Avengers movie, but yes other than that there was no build up to it. Then finally Ultron himself who just wasn't menacing at all, the makers tried to make him like Loki Pt 2, which just didn't work and the movie title 'Age Of Ultron' is more like 'A Day and a half of Ultron'.

But it does have it's good points, I mean bringing all these mammoth characters again was just a feat in itself, and while it's nowhere near as good as the first one, it's still a brilliant movie with excellent set pieces and the cast are on great form again. Also I did like Hawkeye more in this movie and his in joke about battling robots with just a bow and arrow was just hilarious.

'Captain America - The Winter Soldier', Now this was an excellent stand-alone movie that is miles better than the first 'CA' movie. The twists and turns in the plot makes this a riveting watch and the addition of the Winter Soldier was just amazing and bringing back seriously underrated actor Sebastian Stan into the Marvel Universe is a welcome treat. Everything about this movie works and it really establishes Captain America into modern times, and the action and the fights were amazing and I liked the way that this plays like a 70's thriller which didn't seem out of place at all. Everything is upped in this movie and it's definitely in the right place on this countdown.

A breathtaking conclusion to phase 1. It tied up so much of phase 1 brilliantly and feels so superior due to Loki as the villain. Someone who was certainly missing from Ultron! The final battle through New York is orgasmic to watch. Oddly, though, despite LOTS of 10s, nobody pegged this as their favourite. No 11s.

#06 // Tony Stark / Iron Man // Score 96

(15 points from Iz, 14 points from Chez, Froot)

Not many people scored, Tony, but those who did gave him very high scores, so saved him from flopping terribly, which looks possibly at the start of the voting. He's a bit of a martmite character. I personally find him rather irritating not to mention quite uninteresting. His motives in Civil War felt a bit self righteous, and especially in the final fight, he seems totally irrational. No top 5 for you, Tony. BYE.

#05 // Thor // Score 101

(14 points from Jimmy Jam, Kye. 13 from Joe., DjHazey)

Making the top 5 is Thor, the god of hammers, or thunder and lightning, arms or something similar. Chris Hemsworth does a brilliant job with the characterisation of Thor. There's a lot of kucnkleheaded wit but so much soul and heart, too. It was sad that he was busy being in a different universe during Civil War, but I'm very much looking forward to his and The Hulk's returns in Ragnarok!

Really excited for Guardians 2 now tbh, reliving all the great characters and jokes from the first one so I'm very excited to see that return. Rocket was definitely my favourite so I'll be happy to see him return in the Avengers films too perhaps. I really love Thor as well, not only because of Chris Hemsworth but he's certainly one of the more likeable Avengers and I loved it in Thor 1 seeing him get used to Earth's lifestyle

I find RDJ vastly overrated, I also really hate Iron Man as a character

Thor however, woof.

Same, so glad he didn't make the top 5!

It's between Captain America, Loki, Black Widow and Antman now guys!

Who'll win?!
