If they maintain this run, Leeds United are a contender for promotion.

For automatic promotion, it will probably be Brighton & Newcastle United.

Johnson has to go now. 12 defeats in 15 games, 7 defeats in a row. Absolutely pathetic.
He got yous up tho - sacking is t always the answer!

Steve Cotterill got us promoted not Lee Johnson. :P

Johnson did well to keep us up last season but he's completely lost the plot in the last few months. He doesn't know his best team, chopping and changing the team/formation every week, playing players out of position. Seriously, he hasn't got a f***ing clue what he's doing.

That's fair enough I was sure he got yous promoted - where Cotterill now - he retired?

He's been out of work for over a year now but he hasn't retired. Apparently he was offered the Newport job but turned it down. He also was interviewed for the Villa job but he was never going to beat Steve Bruce to the post.

I think he would do well at a League One club. He has a good record there but he seems to fall short at Championship level.

I would say so but again they were bottom when he took over and has had consistent top 10 finishes with hardly any money!

8 defeats in a row now. That's a club record (in the league). Funnily enough Gary Johnson had a bad losing streak in 2005. He lost 9 games in a row (7 in the league and 2 in the cup). A Johnson thing perhaps?!

Gary did turn it around eventually but I just can't see Lee doing the same. :(

Horrible broken leg for Ryan Catney at the Cliftonville game today - he got a red card as he was being stretchered to the ambulance too which was doubly frustrating although in sure he didn't even know due to the pain lol

Newcastle and Brighton the two favourites to gain automatic promotion then?

Play-offs still very hard to predict.

And back to the top go Brighton with a win over Cardiff last night. Really hoping they can maintain their form and get promoted.

Yeah I think they're both too far ahead now, would require a Derby-style collapse really.

I would like Huddersfield or Sheffield Wednesday to go up via the play-offs.

Brentford sell Hogan to Aston Villa for £12m and then beat them 3-0. I wonder if Hogan felt he made the right choice?
