So chuffed for Max, the reaction from the Brazilian's was amazing too getting second and third. Hopefully Murray puts in a good match (ie. WINS) later too.

Especially the Brazilian who won bronze who was overwhelmed and happy unlike that ginger little shit, Rutherford last night.

Well done Max Whitlock and Justin Rose in the golf.

Wow, ANOTHER gold for Max Whitlock.

Also that is three golds for GB in a little less than 2 hours. Super Saturday? More like SENSATIONAL Sunday! :D

Phenomenal stuff from Max Whitlock, two Olympic golds in 2 hours. Give that man Sports Personality of the Year please. Louis Smith could have shaken hands with him.
Who cares about Super Saturday, this is even better. It's a proper medal RUSH. Max played that all so, so well, I felt a little bad for Louis missing out, but it was his teammate so I felt he could have been a TAD more gracious.

Absolutely insane tonight, and we still possibly have a few more Golds to come today in Cycling and Tennis! *.*

Can't quite believe we got both of Silver and Gold in the pommel horse, at least Smith made up for his performance last time.

We have 2 medals in the bag with Skinner and Kenny but in which order.

Two sets to one now to Murray. Got to admire the effort Del Potro is putting in though.
This fourth set is at once thrilling from a match perspective, but also seriously annoying as a Murray fan/someone who wants to go to bed.
Some absolutely tremendous rallys in this set even if the match as a whole has been MESSY as f***

Wow! That was special. The greatest 400m run from Wayne Van Niekirk who broke Michael Johnson's world record with a time of 43.03. Extraordinary, stunning. Something to whet our appetite before the 100m final.

Truly incredible race just then and Wayne Van Niekirk didn't even look tired after that!

Edit: Usain Bolt wins the 100 m again. I was hoping someone else would win for a change but congratulations Bolt anyway.

Very pleased for Bolt, he's always a class act and a world-class athlete whose records will stand in history, and the way he fought back to get ahead of Gatlin was so wonderful to watch.

No-one can beat Bolt when he is 100% fit yet alone 50% fit. The man is the greatest sprinter I've ever seen. He's one of my favourite sportsman. He is a true Olympic legend. It's an honour to watch the likes of Bolt and Phelps. He gave them a 2 metre head start. 6 men under 10 seconds. I would love to see a race where all 8 men go under 10 seconds. We'll never see the likes of Bolt again. 'The God of Sprinting' he is. He'll be remembered for the rest of time. 9.80 still a very quick time. We may see something special in the 200m. Gatlin had no answer at all. No-one can get close to Bolt. Great atmosphere tonight in the athletics stadium. He is natural ability for definite.

Just seen Van Niekirk's 400m again. What a night for athletics. Just what the sport needed after the doping scandals and the creditably it has suffered in the past few years.
