Though the two songs I have awarded said points to couldn't be more different. Unlike the thrilling and bonkers 'Free Tibet', what I love about this is how much of a subtle beauty it is. It just instantly chills me out as soon as i listen to it. The vocals are so soothing and and the production is dreamy alongside. Just stunning! 15 Skall // BICEP // JUST لعب I'm so glad that Skall long songs are doing better this year! Lost a couple of essentials last year but thankfully we had Teengirl Fantasy in the final this year and now this! *.* Skall continue to be one of the most standout and interesting countries for me with a plethora of jams. While i was robbed of giving 'Blaff' and 'Farewell G41' big points, Skall now land in my medal positions for the first time with this! 'JUST' is just incredible, such an infectious 'bloopy' kind of sound that stood out for miles. The little vocal portion is slotted in well too. My gosh, i was listening to the semi 1 playlist on Spotify and this just blew my mind a bit upon first listen. This stood out in the most amazing way and i've been rooting for it ever since that first listen. Many repeats have happened since and it just continues to amaze me every time. The lyrics firstly are SO powerful and the accompanying lyric video thingy helped me to appreciate them even more. The vocals may not be everyone's cup of tea but to me they're really unique and passionate. Then OH MY GOSH the second half of the song, it just gets even better with that pounding intense instrumental.
