Back inside the UK top 40 this week at #34!

Yeah, I can't say I like the 'Hotter Than Hell' cover either, but the difference is that I'm not really going to ever see that one. If I was to buy her album, I'd have that awful cover physically in my hands and, unfortunately, album artwork does have some bearing on whether I'd buy and album or not (unless I'm a die-hard fan of said artist, and Lord knows I've needed to be to buy some of Madonna's albums, hello Hard Candy).
It really surprises me that the artwork of an album can determine whether someone buys an album or not, and this isn't just in response to you Liam but to other people on various forums I've seen say similar things. 99% of the time when I buy an album, I play a CD once and then store it away never to be seen again as the songs will just go onto my iPod. But even so I always think the sole purpose of a CD is to listen to songs and not to be able to look at pretty artwork - unless its a very special type of cover of course like Katy Perry's candy smelling Teenage Dream cover or something. But even then that's only an extra reason to buy, not a reason not to buy.

I do agree, it does seem silly that what an album looks like influences the decision to buy it, since the main purpose of buying an album is to listen to it. I suppose I'm still a keen physical buyer and I like to play it on my record player so I do see the album cover a lot more which perhaps is party why I hold this opinion, plus I'm generally someone who likes things to look nice and neat so I wouldn't want something that's not aesthetically pleasing to spoil my music collection.

I'm the same when I want to buy a compilation album by an artist who has a substantial amount of them released through the years - I'll always try to go for the one that looks nicest, even if it means it doesn't cover all my favourites, which is pretty crazy!

Haha it makes sense! I always used to get irritated when I bought a CD and then the album and artist name on the side of the CD was aligned the wrong way around to 99% of other CDs - I think nearly all face left and then there's the odd few that face right (if that makes sense). I wouldn't go as far as not buying it because of that but I see where you are coming from in terms of having things looking aesthetically pleasing! :D

I know what you mean and unsurprisingly that's something that drives me mad too! :P I have my CDs lying flat so the titled can be read from left to right, so if I have one that has the titles the wrong way round, I have to put the CD front cover down instead of upwards which is annoying, although thankfully not to the point where I'd refuse to buy it.

This has been delayed now until January 20 2017 :(
January 2017?! Is her record label taking tips from Stooshe? She might not get another hit between now and then and HTH will be a distant memory.
She hasn't had a hit yet though?

'Hotter Than Hell' is doing a good job of not being a hit  Currently in the iTunes Top 10 and a chart run of 50-75-60-55-44-18-17-15-15 and will likely reach a new peak this week.

For me I'd rank her singles:

1. Hotter Than Hell 10/10

2. Be The One 9.5/10

3. Last Dance 7.5/10

4. New Love 6/10

9.0 Be The One

8.0 Hotter Than Hell

6.0 Last Dance
