Album delayed until February 10 according to iTunes Germany.

Stupid, should be out now with the success of HTH!!

I think it *could* work better for her actually, I'm not sure Hotter Than Hell has been quite big enough to sell an album yet. Could be better with a couple more hits under her belt! And she would get swallowed whole in Q4 so I think Jan/Feb is the best time for an album by her, especially as that's the time where new acts get pushed most.

So theres gonna be a 5th single in Sept and then

I'd gone with an Oct release

October is Q4, one of the busiest months of the year for albums, she would be swallowed up and this would debut at like #17. February is a much better time, and to the general public, Hotter Than Hell is the first single anyway so it doesn't make that much of a difference.

She has a new single in Sept

The logic thing would be to follow it up with the album in Oct

Otherwise it means the label doesnt trust you

I don't think it IS logical to release an album by someone who isn't a big name at a time where you need to be a big name to get a good chart position. They may not trust her but it makes more sense commercially.

I already know it's better on account that it couldn't be worse though.

 

I actually prefer the old one which I didn't get the hate for, it was simple yet effective. This one is nice too though, I just think that the way the old one was focused completely on Dua's face was a more "iconic" way of introducing a new artist. I like all Dua's artworks though, they all have a wonderful simplicity and are always striking.

 

EDIT: Sorry didn't realise how big that was but at least it works!

Was thinking the same :( Really hope its just an instant grat or something as it is so so poor :(

It isn't a single, just a song for Hunger Magazine to have a special video for like Cheryl's Ghetto Baby was amongst others. It's a nice album track and shows a different side to her but it wouldn't work as a single.

I actually love Room For 2, it's so different :unsure:

I like it but it's not single-material.
