Christian is performing How To Save A Life tonight, literally the most IMPECCABLE song choice (one of my favorites of all time) and apparently it's full of emotion and will make us cry <3. I can't even fathom how much I'm looking forward to tonight!!

May I ask that song choices are posted in the spoiler thread before they've aired? I'm avoiding them at this stage until they're on TV :kink:

Is it just me who finds Emily crap? :lol: She's so bland and plain, just the female version of the barrage of boring guys with the same haircut who audition year after year. Her voice is really weak and nothing special tone wise to make up for it either. To be honest the girls this year as a bit bleh all in all, save for Gifty but she is so gonna come like 9th. I agree with Simon about Samantha, I still feel a bit of a disconnect even though her voice is definitely very good.

 

The less said about the groups the better. I think this may be the worst category I have ever seen in any X Factor, there's not a single thing I like about any of them.

Samantha was actually shockingly my favourite girl last night! :o All were very strong, even the arrogant one who sang Genie In A Bottle

Saara just needs to reign it in a bit, she oversings everything

Even from an unbiased view, Saara is definitely the best technical singer out of the female overs - and Eurovision fans know, unlike Robbie Williams, that she can most certainly deliver a full on dancing and singing performance. If she did make the lives and wasn't sabotaged by making her "eccentric novelty act from foreign country" she could pull out some stunning performances, but judging by Robbie's comments it is looking unlikely.

This category is a dull squib, I only like Janet Grogan so far... Sam let me down

Honey wasn't even that bad - she's pretty good in terms of the chorus and 3rd verse bits.

I'm really hoping that Honey G can go quite far in this, I'm sure she's appealing to lots more people than the 'entertaining' acts usually do.
