This has been getting incredible reviews all across the board. Extremely excited to see it. Looks extremely tense and unnerving. Looks quite unique too!

One of the most tense/stressful films I have ever watched! So good. I won't say too much about it but it keeps you gripped throughout. One of the best this year.
Very good film, one of the best films of the year so far with Train To Busan. This is also one of those movies that the less you know beforehand the better. So I recommend to avoid seeing the trailer and just see the whole film.

Yeah this was really outstanding, the suspense all the way through & the fact you never knew where the next twist was or which party had the final say in matters made it all the more gripping!

Top 3 of the year so far for me.

Haven't been to the flicks for years but going to see this film this week. Gets great IMDB reviews and 87% on Rotten Tomatoes! My type of film too.

Saw You're Next for first time last night on Film 4. Great film.

Only let down was the implausible ending where

The killer was being treated as innocent even though he had a sex dungeon in the basment, where, not only would traces of his semen be found, but also blood/DNA from the missing girl he killed and cemented earlier that night.

but apparently the studio added that in and it wasn't down to the writer/director.

Agreed with Joe. The ending let the film down a bit, mainly for the reasons above but for also that stupid

"despite being hit over the head several times with a blunt instrument (huge blood splats everywhere etc...) or two, being shot and falling to the ground (likely banging his head)" he's not DEAD!!!!!!!!! twist!

It's really pissing me off just how much it happens in movies like this now  Just don't

have the "baddy" injured so badly if you didn't want to kill him off and save it for a potential sequel

My take on the ending we currently have atm is also (I'm probably just doing this to try and soften the blow a little haha)

just the general media coverage trying to cover up the fact he did what he did and the police found the room, but didn't want to let anyone know because he was a blind, old, ex-military man.

but even then it still shouldn't have been that ending. Gives me hope for the alternate ending to be on the DVD/Blu-Ray release though.

But with that out of the way, I really enjoyed this movie too! Not QUITE "film of the year" candidate for me (95% down to the ending), but a very strong, tense, thrilling horror. But 2016 have delivered on those sort of horrors in a big way with '10 Cloverfield Lane', 'Green Room' and now this. A very solid 8/10 for me and definitely worth the watch.

Yeah, he also got pretty much

stabbed through the neck with the semen thing

for someone who's already blind it's all pretty implausible.

This was a good film!

I agree about the ending though, it was a bit stupid that it was turned around in favour of the blind man with the sex dungeon and all the blood, but perhaps it was the media covering it up. Also, how many lives did the blind man, the girl and that other boy have? She fell down that vent, you could hear her neck snap and she got up like it was no problem.

Finally saw this the other day (Think I jumped more at the trailers prior Rings and Ouija 2) but it was ok better than a lot of horror style films I've seen in the last few years.... Best bit though was when a really quiet intense part of the film and these two lasses sat few rows in front one of them looked at their phone so it lit up and a bloke behind them leaned forward and in a really quite deep voice asked if was too dark for them and they both screamed, safe to say they didn't look at phones again

Finally seen this. WOW! It was really good.

NOW I'm not really a big Home Invasion type movie fan at all but this was really quite different!
