Maybe people who like the song? That was nearly three years ago. I'm not defending him but it's in the past now.

Mmm people need to get over the past. He's apologised for everything, accepted he was a dick and is asking for a second chance.

And the song is great. Good to see it doing well.

James Arthur has disappeared from the Top1500 according to LivePopBars.

A bit of a joke there.

You can ask why people still buy songs from Chris Brown after what he did.

James Arthur wasn't obviously taught how to deal with the media after winning the X Factor. He's put his hands up and said sorry. But I can see why people ask why are we buying his songs.

It Appears that James Arthur's song has disappeared from iTunes altogether, nothing comes up when searched :/

Maybe itunes didn't like how well he was doing!

I expect James Arthur's song will reappear before long! Probably a similar situation to offaiah the other day. It's still up in other countries anyway.

Wonderful to see Lady Gaga doing so well, i would welcome her going number 1 officialy next Friday, i hope she can get good streaming. I applaud that she is pulling out the stops to promote and market as for established acts its getting harder and harder to get a high peak. I would welcome many more established artists doing the same.

The new Celine Dion song is fabulous and deserves a far higher placing than it currently has, i would welcome increases throughout the week for this beautiful song.

he's back

Last week's #1 had a combined total of 76k - I know sales have really dropped recently but isn't GaGa still the type of artist that could get 70k sales alone? I mean, it's been 3 years since she was last around in the charts and I'd say PI is more of an event than Applause was...

So pleased for Gaga! And I know sales are low but who knew James Arthur was still relevant (And I see he's still with Sony but the German arm of the business).

Gaga could indeed attract high sales (sales only) streaming is what may let her down.

Really surprised to see James Arthur so high but I would believe he will drop each day and if lucky will manage a top 100 entry.

Delighted to see Olly Murs climbing within the top 10 again, if his streaming could improve he would easily have a top 10 hit (officially).

Considering Applause debuted with 38k I doubt she'd be able to double that
