A few answers but only one gets points. The Girl On The Train stars Emily Blunt and could well be an Oscar winning movie, but not for Best Actress because that belongs to Amy Adams this year.

Speaking of, Sci Fi epic Arrival gets a mention from UV, the movie current has a Rotten Tomatoes score of 100%

and is one of the 7 movies she has with a score of 90% or more, slay queen.

Bridget Jones and her baby get a nod too, it looks like it might be just as amazing if not better than the last two movies,

not just because it lacks Hugh Grant the giant knob that he is.

Oh look, a question about Sebastian Stan in a Regina quiz.

I think a few of you needed to double check the questions before answering them. I asked for a quote from The Winter Solider, AKA, Bucky, AKA Sebby.

We ended up with a few quotes from Cap and the Black Widow, good as they are, they were wrong. Nobody goes for anything from the first movie and I have yet to see

Civil War so if UV's answer comes from that movie, sorry but I didn't know for sure. Pretty sure Liam's answer was from him too, I CBA chekcing tbh, you still flopped.

"You are my mission" was the most popular one here rather unexpectedly IMO, I thought "Who the Hell is Bucky?" would beat it.

It was only one point behind though and was the only other answer to get a point.

The second of two majorly hyped and well received Amy Adams led movies coming out in November takes the form of a revenge tale between a man (Jake Gyllenhaal) and his ex wife (Amy) and revolves around the manuscript of his first book. Currently no trailer for it but we have posters and stills to keep us going and a hastily deleted tiny clip of Amy.

No surprise to see Amy destroying it in this answer, she was the obvious answer, Jake picks up a few points too, yay. Other prominant names that you could have gone for are the sexual beast that is Aaron Taylor Johnson who plays the main villain in the movie, Michael Shannon who plays a cop, Armie Hammer who plays husband #2 of Amy

and also Isla Fischer who plays Jake's wife, thus confirming that in Amy's head, she and Isla are the same person. Only Aaron and Michael were deemed important enough to get a poster alongside Amy and Jake though.

Winner of this question was the erotic thriller (of sorts) The Boy Next Door, which got meh reviews but performed pretty damn well at the box office. Seeing Jenny as a fiesty MILF

was a draw for some people for some odd reason.....

Bordertown is an underrated gem in her filmography and a really heavy movie but really worth a watch. El Cantante is a bit meh but it gave us one of her very best songs in the form of Toma De Mi.SO yay for that.

I think my mind missed connecting Amy Adams with Regina-fandom otherwise I'd have definitely gone for her over Jake.

 

And that's not even the worst of my slip-ups, there always are a few in these quizzes. But on average, seems to be going fairly well.
