While Rih's new sound has mainly received positive comments there seems to be some who would prefer her to return to a more poppy sound. Do you want #R9 to be a pure pop album, an ANTI like album or a mixture?

I'd like a mixture. I like seeing her blurring boundaries and doing what she wants but I do want the straight up bangers as well!

Same. I went for mixture (although only one of us voted for that. Did I vote correct? :o)

I also think she'd get the balance so, SO right with it too!

yes tbh. anti was amazin but rihanna doin dance pop is what i came for and what i expect

Agreed.

Although mix albums like 'Talk That Talk' and 'Unapologetic' work for me. I'm happy for her she got to do what she wanted but throwing away a smash pop hit when it could have been on the album instead of a useless interlude is a big no (yes I'm still pressed she Rihjected 'Cheap Thrills' for ANTI).

I am happy she is actually puttinf more focus on creating an album, but I do miss the days of Umbrella, We Found Love, Whats My Name and even Diamonds
I should've gone for mix but I went with the more poppy sound since I miss her truly dominating the charts. The only songs I really like on ANTI are Work, Kiss It Better, Consideration and Same Ol' Mistakes. A Talk That Talk type of album that has a brilliant mix of dirty urban tracks like Cockiness and Birthday Cake and amazing catchy pop like We Found Love and Where Have You Been and then a hybrid of the two in Roc Me Out would be ideal but I don't know if the Pop influences were down to Def Jam or Rih. I'm kind of sad Rihanna's pop chapter is behind her now.
