This is on track to being the most vetoed contest ever lol

Pretty sure we've had much worse months than this ~ unless there are like 10 more vetoes coming which sources indicate there might be

Beaverdonia's contest :P

Whixh is ironic as we alwaaays get vetoed!!!

Cannot complain as I knew I was always gonna be close. Saw their album came out in early September 2014 and thought I'd chance my luck.

If the high blog coverage was due to the original I find the extra 12 points slightly harsh (since I'm sending a remix), if it was due to the remix I understand (since it should be judged on the remix, not the original (because the original is quite frankly shit).

Reconfirming now.

Two Friends have had better remixes too
yeah their Trap King remake (of Trap Queen) and the I Miss You remix :music:
VETOES

Sufjan Stevens - Should Have Known Better 29

My first veto  Not surprised at all, but I had to give it a go.

I still believe that there are only about 10/70 who know this beautiful song (I heard it in the series 'One Mississippi' some weeks ago, haven't heard it before) and it would've been a great discovery for some others.

Soo, if you're not familiar with the song, youtube is your friend, it's worth a try:

Btw I'll definitely have a private veto sesh, as I know only 'Something Better' (but not this remix) and usually there are some goodies hidden here

That woulda flopped tbh!! Gentle songs are the Kiss of Death in BKSC, no matter how good. Even Medicine by Daughter which was arguably the best gentle song this ydar flopped.
I'm still interested in what you were possibly going to send to Instrumentals!

or

More vetoes:

Lizzo - Phone 19

The fanbase would've guaranteed him a Q. My 12 alone would've been a great help. But yeah, I agree with the veto. A bit too cheap and like a third of the people would've known the song prior to the contest.

Yeah, had to to give it a go, every month there are 1-2 cheap entries going through that the mind boggles, so there was a slight chance of me making it. I think a third of the people doesn't know 'Should Have Known Better' (that would mean 20-22 participants, that's a lot), but I totally understand the veto.

Unfortunately my backup is nowhere to be found online (youtube and soundcloud, at least) - so I went with the song I planned to enter in BJSC 90 - this one's definitely not a veto, but I'll need certain people in my semi, otherwise I'll flop Land of DW-style.

Btw. I'm not good at being vetoed... I couldn't modify my original form, so I submitted a new one - is it ok like this or should I modify the original form somehow?

No need to modify the original as it's come through absolutely fine! ^_^

Omg someone tried to send Lizzo - Phone. I'd already chosen it as my song for next months Contest  That saves me the hassle of sending it but what a tune! :BANGA:
