that's meant to be on their forthcoming album but probably won't be a single.

They said 'they had big plans for it' which I hoped meant it'd be a single - would love to see Marina in the top 40 again!

That melody

I loved 'Tears' but this is so much better. It's gonna be huge!

A post from me back on October 20th. I certainly wasn't wrong

This still sounds so good this many weeks on, 10 weeks at number one please👌

Their album is going to be 🔥 🔥 🔥

Tears is better than Rockabye but this is still 10/10

For me Tears 9/10 - discounted 1 point for pitched vocals but still a brilliant vocal funky house tune.

Rockabye 6/10 A great song (I actually like Sean Paul's rap unlike many Buzzjackers) but the production is tropical and generic, not enough violins.

Edited by Snakin' Stevens

I prefer Tears too but both are absolutely brilliant in different ways, can't wait to see what guests they get for the album!
Was that the first time that additional verse has been heard? I really didn't like the lyrics on it.

They performed that version at the MOBOs too

That version gets played on radio 2 also as they can't play the Sean Paul rap

They can, they just won't because apparently rap music doesn't appeal to people over the age of 25

Although on Steve Wrights Friday show earlier this year I have heard some older hip hop records on it, along with the 90s dance tunes.

Just a thought, and I'm guessing it's an obvious one, but is Rockabye now the biggest hit that Sean Paul has ever put his name to?

This or Cheap Thrills probably, we've had a bit of a Sean Paul-aissance in recent times

Kinda cool to see the back of my head in that performance :P Only the third Christmas #1 I've seen live I think, and the only one in the year it was actually #1!

(the other two were PSB in 2009 and Human League in 2012...I did see Leona once but not sure if she did AMLT)

I still love this track, it's been so rare these last four years that a big hit I actually like arrives so when one does it feels extra special! It's those Europop-circa-1997 instrumental bits in the chorus I adore :D

Cheap Thrills is much bigger in terms of sales ;)
