'Man On The Moon' would be a really good track for me if it wasn't for the vocodered "ooooooh"s in the chorus. It's pretty much noise pollution.

Would have liked Man On The Moon to place a little higher than that. Lovely song

Up next is my personal favorite on the album after 'Just Luv Me', she comes alive on the chakra-aligning, tongue-twisting, Ian Kirkpatrick-produced “If I’m Dancing,” a dizzyingly fierce lovechild of M.I.A., Major Lazer, Björk’s sputtering “Triumph Of A Heart”…and maybe the refined touch of Sophie Ellis-Bextor, too. (It’s murder on the doncefloor.)

A fan favorite from the get-go (seen the memes yet?), the track plays like a twerk-happy worship session dedicated to her favorite form of therapy, and feels as thrilling as anything off of Blackout. These lyrics? “Butterfly from the bottom of the ocean“? As madcap as a Xenomania track.

“If I’m dancing, if I’m doooncing, if I’m doooncing…I know the music’s good,” she moans in her Britishney accent. Didja get that? How couldn't we? This is Britney at her best.

Britney’s never had a PROPER album opener (Unless 'Gimme More' counts, because that opening line can't be beat). Within just the first few seconds of “Invitation,” an ethereal cross between Janet Jackson and Enya, it’s obvious that Glory is more sophisticated than anything she’s ever done before.

“Here’s my invitation, baby / Come feel my energy,” she coos in all her heavily vocoded, celestial bliss, like an angel sent down to deliver us from boring pop and bad sex. “Put your love all over me.”

As the opening implies, blindfold in hand, Glory is largely an invitation into Britney’s boudoir. Most of the lyrics could be tossed into your next eggplant emoji-filled sexting session: it’s about putting on a private show and bangin’ all over this bedroom.

Y'all better start commenting on these damn results before I schedule another Britney Jean rate.

If I'm Dancing is flawless...experimentney is always fun and it delivers

In perfect world this should have been hit and all over radios.

I think it should have been the lead single!

Who's the hot guy? :P

I'm shocked at the low placement for 'Love Me Down'. Very undeserved.

I'm too lazy to find out if 'Change Your Mind' is still in but I hope it is.

I think it should have been the lead single!

Do you think it would have done any better, though? I mean, it's easy to say in hindsight something else should have been but she's not in the best of positions.

I just think it would be an amazing lead to the campaign. I'd imagine the video wouldn't have been butchered as the song isn't nearly as sexual, I also think UP tempo Britney is ALWAYS the way you kick off an album.

It's also perfect for the Summertime, while 'Make Me' would have been a great follow up Fall release. Not really about the charts as much as me wanting it to get the highest of all the single treatments.

If I'm Dancing could work as a single, a nice twerk anthem!

Invitation is amazing, haters to the left! :D Glad it stuck around longer than certain predictions.

I looooooove If I'm Dancing but there's no way it'd work as a single.

I actually think it could tbh. Especially as I think those memes that happened would have been on a bigger level and got it more attention.

In regards to smashes, I'm over it for Britney tbh. I doubt she'll get a major hit again (unless she's a featured vocalist on someone like Calvin's single etc. ). I really don't care for whether her singles are a success anymore. She has nothing left to prove to anyone. I'm just greatful she's releasing music of this caliber again. Its kinda weird how I feel about it all tbh.

Obviously success would be nice, but it's not as important as people like to believe it is for her imo. She's literally a legend and will go down as one of the best popstars of our generation. Success is irrelevant for her, unlike it is for someone like Katy or Gaga for example who still have quite a bit to prove before becoming actual icons on the level of Madonna, Britney, Beyonce etc..

Since she's only 34 and American radio still play her (to a point), I do think Britney can manage a moderate sized hit if it's handled correctly.
