Delicate really isn't representative of the album, it's probably my least fave :lol: Ready For It is the most representative of the best of the album tbh.

I've finished the Radio 1 show and literally every single song sounds the same? I don't get the point of this.

Awww. I love 'Delicate'! :( It's like the baby cousin to 'Just Luv Me' by Britney (except not as personal, as raw or as good) I think!

 

But 'Getaway Car' is my 2nd fave thing she's done (behind 'Out Of the Woods'). Just such a perfectly crafted pop song!

The chorus of 'Getaway Car' reminds me so much of 'Masterpiece' by Jessie J :lol:

Great that shes on 46k already, Will be good see how her sales hold up. I'll guessing she will end up on around 80k-ish by the end of the week. Probably would of matched 1989 if she was on streaming.

End Game sounds like it could have been written for Kesha. I think I Did Something Bad is my highlight other than the singles. I am not massive on the production. It is giving me Witness teas... I am actually kind of loving New Years Day too

End Game is definitely a smash. I’m really impressed with this album, there are some very strong melodies, I was worried as I haven’t really been obsessed with any of the four songs we heard pre-release.

 

My other early favourite is Dancing With Our Hands Tied. Adore the production and the vibe reminded me of Carly Rae. Also seems pretty catchy so I’m surprised all of the reviews so far in here are passing it off as filler, it’s an easy 9.5/10 for me!

Supposedly this Friday.

Given this a fair few listens now so I feel like it has all settled in. It's nowhere near as good as 1989 really but it has its big highs still despite having way more filler on the whole. "Ready For It" to "Look What You Made Me Do" (and Gorgeous too) on the tracklist are all fantastic songs but pretty much the whole of the second half just feels forgettable :( They're still decent pop songs and there are no actual bad songs on the album at all so I can't complain too much but it just feels a little disappointing after how much I enjoyed the singles that came before the album release.

 

"I Did Something Bad" is THAT song though, next single pleeeeaaase!!
