Some interesting facts on Win Some Lose Some , I wonder if that is why he included it in the setlist :)

"Win Some Lose Some" is a song by English recording artist Robbie Williams. It was released in New Zealand on 13 March 2000 as the fifth and last single from his second studio album I've Been Expecting You (1998).

The song became another top ten hit for Williams in New Zealand; peaking at number seven, it spent four weeks inside the top ten and 21 weeks overall on the chart.[1] The song was included on the New Zealand version of Williams' Greatest Hits album due to its popularity there.

Yes - it must be mustn't it? Not such a random choice then as it first seemed.

Lovely to see some of the other songs get an airing. ^_^

Something Stupid for a young lady who had lost her Mum. :(

Tess - did you watch this?

At the end on the big screen you can quite clearly see that she is saying to him "you saved my life".

How poignant must that be to hear and for someone to tell you that straight to your face?

Then to compose yourself and carry on singing?

Five highlights from the show

Williams’ huge hit single from 2000, Rock DJ, is the energetic pinnacle of the Heavy Entertainment Show

The Robbie Williams Band, with horn section, backing singers, and particularly versatile guitarist Tom Longworth, is impressive

New Zealand-based country songstress Tami Neilson is a worthy opening act, and she has a fan in Williams, who said ‘‘she’s got a bigger voice than me’’

Long-term Williams show closer Angels remains one of the best and most sentimental songs in his repertoire

Like a well-travelled comedian, Williams no doubt uses the same gags for each show, but he knows how to get a laugh, and remains the inveterate entertainer

Really lovely moment that meant such a lot to that young girl

Ed Sheerin made a comment on a chat show about how amazing it is to hear thousands of people singing a song that he had written at the tops of their voices

I always remember the night coming out of Wembley & everyone was singing Angels ,

By all accounts the show is going pretty well in NZ B-)

Interesting third hand news from Upfront :P

Towards the end of the year RW will be doing three gigs somewhere he hasn't been for a long time that's far from Europe.

It HAS to be South America doesn't it? ;)

12 years since he's been there.

Love that. I have such a soft spot for Rudebox .

Did he say that? Argentina, Mexico, Chile?

I do not know Elisabeth, only speculation , he wants to keep folks guessing , ads to the anticipation, I hope he does South America, they have been waiting so long . I presume they talk tp promoters first to get an idea how tickets would sell , it has to be worth it financially for him to go to these places

Yes he did say it on chat although I didn't see it myself. Only the chatter after.

He said he had exciting news that they had booked three gigs in places he hadn't been to in a long time and you would need to save your air miles to get there.

I'm sure it is S. America because last year his dad made a comment that they would return there in the near future.

Good for them ^_^
