February 8, 20178 yr Rise - Nice but certainly not her best. I'm very excited for he new song though. Tilted - Glad that this did so well for her. Hands To Myself - Love the video for this. One of my faves of 2016. Hotter Than Hell - Cool but her follow ups have been better. Who Do You Think Of - Easily their best song, glad that this became their hit. Love Me Like You - Wasn't a fan when it was released but I've grown to love it since I bought the album.

Two fab tracks from Sia here, monster hit Cheap Thrills and beautiful Bird Set Free which I fell in love with after seeing The Shallows! Cheap Thrills should be top 40 also. First of Ariana's 2 top 50 entries comes from her 2nd ever biggest seller Dangerous Woman which is one of the best things she's ever done and should've made my top 5 Dua is also here with her highest entry of 2016 and another #2 hit, Blow Your Mind! Such an anthem *.* Find Me is great but I'd probably have it about 10 places lower, haven't gone back to it too much over the last few weeks. Anyway its another multiple week spending #2 hit Stooshe returned to slay us all as ever and scored another #1 with Let It Go *.* It fell quickly at the start but held up well long-term! Still incredible and I love when they release stuff <3 Vice is probs my favourite of this section and should be top 25, an absolute country beauty with fab lyrics and vocals, it took a long time to completely hit me and spent a long term in my charts! One Strike also took me by shock and is actually my 2nd fave All Saints song of all time, the song peaked at #4 after a number of weeks top 10! Kindly Calm Me Down should've been a single and is one of Meghan's best yet, a beautiful wintery ballad with Meghan slaying on the vocals and another top 5 hit for her here! Make Me was also a great return for Britney and gave her another #2 hit with her comeback hit Make Me, which spent over half its run in my top 10! (The same with Pretty Girls as well which had a VERY similar chart-run, just a few weeks longer!) The highest peaking song on my personal chart at #3 along with Glitterball (also peaked at 3) Dangerous Woman [6.0] Blow Your Mind Mwah [7.5] Cheap Thrills [9.5] My favourite of the batch. All I can say is "I LOVE CHEAP THRILLS!"

It is a stunning ballad that builds fantastically and Charlie's vocals are fab on it *.* The song went straight in at #1 when his album was released at the start of the year and returned for a few weeks when it became a single at the end of the year! - What's this, two male solo singers in a row kicking off an Ultraviolence 40 best songs of the year charts :o Well unfortunately after LOVING it for ages. I ended up getting pretty bored of Stitches quite quickly and nowadays I just like it instead of adore it like I used to. The song first entered my charts in early July and hung around for ages, eventually spending 2 weeks at a peak of #2 in 2016 and has sold nearly 1.5m copies here! - Next up is probably my favourite Sigma song to date with Stay, which has fantastic vocals and an anthemic and incredible production <3 The song became the dance duo's 2nd #1 hit here and held on very well! - Into 37th and 36th we have Ellie Goulding & Mollie King's sole new songs from 2016 which both debuted in my chart in the same week :o Mollie took the lead at #1 with two consecutive weeks there while Ellie spent a couple of weeks top 5 before grabbing a week at #1! Both fell quite quickly in the long-run though and neither song should be anywhere near this high, both are very good but I don't go back to either that much and I much prefer songs like Tilted which are 20 places lower here! - Taylor continued to slay here in 2016 and I think OOTW marks her highest song here for 2016! The song originally debuted & peaked at #2 back all the way in OCTOBER 2014!! before finally reaching a peak of #1 at the start of this year, a year and a quarter after first charting (though it had a lengthy dropout period obviously!). The song re-impacted due to the stunning video release and is still one of her best songs to date! <3 - You Don't Know Love was one of the best thing's Olly had ever done on first listen and is nowadays a million miles ahead of all his other material. Love the lyrics, the production and it is a fantastic pop song which rly deserved to be a massive hit! Anyway it marked his 2nd #1 here and held on very well!! - & in 34th/32nd/31st we have the three songs that are all in my top 20 favourite songs of the year!! - Sound Of Silence: My f***ing god, I was completely and utterly taken aback and slayed when I witnessed Dami performing this during the Eurovision semi-finals. It made the song click with me so badly and become my favourite Eurovision entry of 2016! Dami's vocals are bloody incredible, especially towards the end of the track, and it is an incredible ballad! <3 The song went to #1 after Eurovision and held very well! <3 - In 32nd is should've been Eurovision winner but somehow didn't even get there due to Poland making the wrong decision, Margaret's pop-anthem 'Cool Me Down' is another one of my big faves of 2016 which I have kept on going back to repetedly since release! The song debuted & peaked at #2 and despite only spending 2 weeks top 10, the track held around forever and sold nearly 900k! - And in 31st is another song which clicked with me due to a performance, but this one for a completely different reason, this was due to Kelly Clarkson's incredible powerhouse showstopping best performance of 2016 vocal performance on American Idol, where she performed a slowed down version of Piece By Piece. This version is so f***ing perfect, its like a side-piece to 'Because Of You' which is my favourite song of all time! <3 Kelly's vocals & the amount of emotion in the song is incredible, the lyrics are heartbreaking and this is now my go to cry song whenever I feel upset. An all time classic for me. The song debuted at #2 behind Fifth Harmony's gigantic Work From Home (which is still to come!) which both entered my charts in the same week but Kelly managed to thankfully sneak in a week at #1 and she held on incredibley well! <3 What do you think will be coming up shortly?!
