Saara is going to win my friends. Cowell has that look on is face where he had a favoured winner (Matt) and has realised it has gone to the dogs and there is nothing he can do about it.

If she doesn't win it will be a travesty.

Emily just has to go, for once i agree with Louis Walsh, its the same thing every single week.

Saara just has to win, i think she is excellent, i haven't got behind a contestant so much in years and as i live in Ireland and its shown on tv3 here we cant vote which is so annoying.

I missed it, but lemme guess Saara took the wigs and Matt & Emily were abysmal and 5AM just relied on backing vocals?

Ireland can vote. There are separate voting numbers online on tv3.ie.

No lies detected. This sums it up.

Saara was sensational.

I couldn't hear Emily at all, those kids swallowed her vocals, I'm screaming.
Poor Jessie, what a way to completly butcher a song, that was awful.

Sofabet, for all their overanalysing (which has gone a bit too far in recent weeks imo), did point out something interesting. Dermot apparently said at the beginning of week 7 that 3 different acts have topped the vote, now by the beginning of week 9 that has gone up to 4 acts.

Therefore someone new has topped the vote in either week 7 or week 8. I think we all assume Matt was winning the majority of the early weeks, and Emily's breakout moment was surely Creep - at least more so than anything she's done in week 7 or 8. So her vote topping must have been week 4. We then had the ambiguous clue of something like "two different acts had been top of the vote that have never been top before" in week 6. We all presumed this was therefore between Honey G, 5AM and Saara.

At the end of the day, we know Matt would have won the early weeks so which of these could have given an act their first vote topper:

Emily - It Must Have Been Love or Toxic/Human

5AM - Try A Little Tenderness only (can't have been them week 8 as bottom 2)

Saara - My Heart Will Go On or The Winner Takes It All/Diamonds Medley

I can't see either of Emily's being her first vote topper as her momentum was greatest between weeks 3 and 5 imo.

Will 5AM really have had such a sudden vote dip? It feels like their most likely vote topper was Spice Girls, but could it have been them being referred to in the week 6 clue?

Saara's momentum is obviously in full swing right now and week 8 saw her sudden odds change, if she won any week you'd assume it was week 8. It'd have been quite something for her to win week 6 from slot one, after being bottom 2 previous week.

My theory using this variety of clues is that the following won these weeks:

Express Yourself, Motown, Divas: Matt (Emily consistently top 3)

Fright Night: Emily

Boy/Girlbands: 5AM

Disco: Honey (Saara second)

Movies: Matt (Saara second)

Louis Loves: Saara (Matt second, Emily third)

That's fairly believable and fits all the clues, only issue is could Honey really have won Disco week? In the days after Disco week, papers did "leak" Honey to be the new vote topper - so perhaps it was true after all? We also have to factor in why they chose this week to say every contestant has topped the vote. If Saara had won Movies then all 5 would've topped the vote before the quarter final, so it suggests she must have won week 8. Therefore she does potentially have the momentum.

Oops that's another overly long analysis from me, do enjoy!

EDIT: Oh no my theory is FOILED as that renders the week 7 clue false, damn it's too complicated!!!

Mine too :(

Moral of the story is that 5AM can't have been top 2 for Spice Girls and it only makes sense for Saara to have been the new vote topper in the past week... unless Ryan's elimination gave Emily an almighty boost?

I'm honestly overwhelmed at Saara. There are no words to describe my feelings that really could win
Express Yourself, Motown, Divas: Matt (Emily consistently top 3)

Disco: Honey (Saara second)

Movies: Matt (Saara second)

Louis Loves: Saara (Matt second, Emily third)

I think

Matt won every week except Fright Night where Emily won then 5AM won Disco with Honey G being 2nd, they were never top 2 as Matt/Emily had top 2 until that week, then Matt back for Movies and Saara taking control on Louis Loves

I hear that there was a super plastic version of War is Over offending the British Facebook pages?

Matt is going out.

Mark my words!!

#PsychicBeaver #rememberIpredictedTrumpBrexitANDHoneyG'sexit even though y'all called me an idiot for the first two oops~

This year is a rehash of 2008. It will be 5 Against Midnight vs Saara for the win, with Saara now being Ruth Lorenzo AND Alexandra in one. However as 2016 likes to turn things on its head this time it will be the band Five Against Midnight which will triumph and win.

Also, I see lots of talk of #MOMENTUUUM!!!

When have I EVERRR been wrong in a vote aboot momentum?? NEVER!! So mark my words bien.

The show was broadcasted live here in Finland for the first time and loved to see Saara delivering! She's awesome. Funny to think how far she's come because all her ESC entries have been quite bad. X Factor has been a great school for her.

01 Saara - Chandelier (flawless, incredible, effortless. Both this and The a Winner Takes It All will go down as two of my all time faves, I can't heap enough praise on her)

02 Saara - All I Want For Chrisrmas (exactly what the Christmas section needed, an actual fun Christmas song imbued with joy and of course performed impeccably as always)

03 Matt - Silent Night (a nice and competent enough carol performance but this is where the equality dives lmao)

04 Emily - Mad World (as far as generic Emily performances go, this was enjoyable)

05 5 After Midnight - Signed, Sealed, Delivered (just about average which is stratospheric by their standards)

06 5 After Midnight - Stay Another Day (they cannot sing ballads lmao. Well they just can't sing)

07 Emily - War Is Over (a tragic attempt at this song by being buoyed by the child choir)

08 Matt - Say You Love Me (I found that absolutely painful, the magic of that song is Jessie's voice being so smooth and soulful, but he shouted all over it which is ironic given how he was far too restrained on Sia last week....)

I hear that there was a super plastic version of War is Over offending the British Facebook pages?

It was just the usual bland lifeless Emily performance  She had a children's choir sing most of it for her.

This was the first time I watched any performances of this year's contestants and oh my god, Saara is so ahead of everyone else, to say it's ridiculous would be an understatement.

Matt is just a pretty One Direction face. Emily is bland as f***. I mean she could've just opened the mouth without singing anything and the children choir would've done all the work for her. Ughhh how the hell was she never in the bottom 3?!? f*** off love. And don't even get me started on the cheesy cliché 5AM. Go back to 1997. Backstreet's back! ALRIGHT!
