I really do think Coleen is one of the most of the undeserving winners that's won in a while. I mean say what you want about people like Bear or even Helen (who I can't stand) but at least they brought something to there Series and made an impact what exactly did Coleen even do in there ? I think I would have even preferred Nicola winning over her .

Coleen was just a lovely woman though. Does the winner always have to bring some kind of drama? I think everyone in the final (except Bianca) deserved to be there and they were all worthy winners in my opinion. Coleen had her funny moments but remember that Jedward and Kim took up a lot of the airtime so we couldn't see much of Coleen.

At the end of the day, the majority of voters saw Coleen as the most worthy so she won.

Nicole got off very lightly in her interview, it was far too matey.

Yeah I agree, I think if it was me I'd have been like "don't you think sometimes you could perhaps be as bad as you say Kim was? We did see you getting quite aggressive and heated" at least. It's not that hard to hedge your words so it at least sounds like you're taking into account how people have been viewed by the public. If she's such a fan as she obviously is, she'll be aware of it.

We saw that the edit was very kind to Nicola though, so it's no surprise they wouldn't call her out on it. During 'adulterer part 2', in the live feed she stoked the fire and let Kim go but in the edit it looked like she kicked off from nothing. They wanted a villain and Kim played it perfectly.

No they don't have to be but there's been winners in the past that have not really brought much drama yet were still entertaining and worthy winners but I really don't think Coleen was one of them . You hardly really saw her do that much and if you did she was either moaning/bitching about someone or crying and getting upset all the time .

I'm being pedantic to your point but 32% is not a majority. :P Also, I don't think you can say those who voted for her saw her as the 'most worthy', obviously its implied through what you're voting for but I'm sure a lot for votes come from her as a person, regardless of her actions in the house which is why she came 2nd only to Julian Clary in her previous series and why she won now.

Yeah I don't think "most worthy" is the way to put it. I do think it's her as a person, she's not hugely charismatic or the most undeniably lovely person ever but I do think we underestimated the "wine mum Loose Women vote", who will relate to a menopausal somewhat depressed older woman trying to keep her sanity in there. I do it too but I think sadly there just isn't enough of the less casual fans who get absorbed and love housemates like Kim or Nicola to outdo the casual viewers who spam facebook with hate for anyone who shouts a bit.

 

I do find it odd though how the two extremes win, it's either niceish, fairly normal or somewhat relatable but not hugely exciting like Sam, Chloe, Coleen or Katie Price (although I did love her :lol:), or full on nasty/villain/someone who does their best to tarnish a whole series like Bear or Helen, how the demographics that win switch so much :lol: It's just a shame that when it does go the other way to someone more notable, it swings towards Bear, Helen or Jim rather than say Kim, Ashleigh, Tiffany or Gina.

Well she's wrong in saying that all the Loose Women win. Of the last 2 Loose Women housemates, Saira didn't even make the final whereas Sherrie only got 6th place with 2% of the vote.

Yeah that is true, it just goes to show the bias of the thing in general (Nicola being a BOTS regular), as well as the way they now "script" certain housemates, for want of a better word. It's clearly not actually scripted but the way they construct the highlights is to keep ongoing storylines going. As you say, Kim was the villain so they'd show a lot of that. She probably had a lot of nice conversations and times where she just talked about life with others, but they wouldn't show that because with an hour a day, tbf who needs to see that? It's just a shame that we see a lot less and the storylines the producers choose are most of what we do see, becasue we have what feels like far less social media coverage by the official accounts, of course a lack of live feed, etc.

 

But whatever happened, I will say again that Kim is absolutely among the most iconic housemates they have ever had. To think she was just a back-up put in because two had walked :lol:

I agree that Bianca and Nicola's interviews were way too kind, especially when you compare them to Kim's. Not really surprised though :lol: I suppose it's not much of a shock either that Coleen won, Jedward and Kim (<3) were too polarizing to win. I think what Bear benefited from is that he was the only really controversial contestant in the final, if one of Kim/Jedward wasn't there then I think the other would've won if that makes sense :lol:
