I already cashed out a couple of bets I made on the Xmas #1 but I've put the profit from those back on Clean Bandit (and a little bit on Mariah as I still think it's totally feasible she could be #1) because it's still too tempting at their current odds. I don't think it'll be that hard for the Jo Cox single to beat CB though. It won't even need to sell as much as NHS Choir did.

The Jo Cox single will only need to sell 60k, which would be around half of the amount the NHS Choir did.

I personally think they will be #1 too, but you never know, the charity single may pass people by this time.

yeah I wouldn't actually count Mariah out, she's got the Christmas Karaoke Carpool coming up which would help her iTunes performance out a bit!
Mariah could do it still - all the parties this weekend, then all the schools off and Xmas almost in full swing - she could be number 1 on streams all week.
I think Louis' streaming will explode soon. He's in no way out of the running for #1 next week.

I put a bet on a surprise Ed Sheeran single going to #1 after he posted that picture of a blue square a couple of days back - hefty return. C'mon Ed, I'm gonna need that single announcement soon.

He will be behind Clean Bandit in sales by tomorrow. Unless he gets to #1 on Spotify, he will not be #1.

He is looking likely for #4 or #5 at this rate, behind Jo Cox & Friends, Clean Bandit, Matt Terry and possibly Mariah.

NHS Choir sold over 100k last year - not too bad considering how sales are so spread out now for most no1s!

I definitely feel like there was much more hype for NHS Choir than Jo Cox & Friends, but maybe all that hype occurred on actual Christmas week? We have no idea how much the media are going to hammer home the charity single during the week.

Do we know if there are any physicals being sold?

The hype built during Christmas week, mainly because they had a 5K lead on the first midweek flash on Saturday (missing streaming obv) - they dropped behind once streaming was included but then they tweeted Bieber.

Anything could (and probably will) happen!

Matt is decreasing very fast

You think decreasing 1.04% is very fast?

You think decreasing 1.04% is very fast?

He's decreasing around about that every hour though. When that is taken over a day or two, that is a very steady pace.

Well that's in comparison to Louis who is also decreasing a lot :P Clean Bandit are up from 0.52 to almost 0.56.

So basically Matt will miss the #1 because his single wasn't released physically.

He's decreasing a LOT faster than that. His sale at iTunes halved yesterday, and likely did the same today.

He's decreasing faster than yesterday and faster than Louis, yesterday the gap between him and the others was shortening but not as much as today. If he continues like that next days he will lose the N.1 on iTunes in 2 days.
So only 4K or so tomorrow ?

Probably nearer 6K, but nowhere near enough to challenge for #1. It won't even be close, there is still a 12K gap (unchanged from yesterday).
