December 15, 20168 yr Hi 5. OneRepublic – Kids [9-16-28-X-5] (4 weeks) Probably the best I've heard from them since Counting Stars 6. The Weeknd feat. Daft Punk – Starboy [39-X-25-6] (3 weeks) 13. Tom Zanetti feat. Sadie Ama – You Want Me [30-21-19-11-6-9-10-13] (8 weeks) 14. Rag'n'Bone Man – Human [35-18-14] (3 weeks) 19. Charli XCX feat. Lil Yachty – After The Afterparty [32-25-19-13-15-19] (6 weeks) 26. NEIKED feat. Dyo – Sexual [35-28-3-1-4-4-5-10-12] (9 weeks, 1 at #1) 28. Calvin Harris – My Way [37-10-4-5-11-12-14-14-11-17-22-28] (12 weeks) 31. offaiah – Trouble [19-14-4-1-2-2-5-6-6-8-10-9-10-12-19-23-31] (17 weeks, 1 at #1) Great chart :)
December 15, 20168 yr Hi! :D OneRepublic have failed to wow me with their recent album. :( 'Kids' is one of the better songs but it just doesn't pack the same punch that the likes of 'Counting Stars' or 'Love Runs Out' did. Similarly, Tove Lo didn't live up to the expectations created by Queen of the Clouds, but she did manage another perfected-pop anthem in the shape of 'True Disaster', which is easily the best the album has to offer. It would be great if she could gain another hit with it but nothing seems to have come of it being a single yet. The two singles chosen from Glory have been spot on - both catchy, pop records that feel like Britney but have the potential to do well in the current singles market. It's just a huge shame radio don't seem to care much about Britney and have slotted her into the category of "second-generation nostalgia acts", despite the fact Glory has been her most well-received album in a decade and proves she is still at the top of her creative game. Adding Tinashe to 'Slumber Party' was a great touch and they both work so well together in the video.
December 16, 20168 yr Author Hey Andrew! :D Wow at Clean Bandit :o there's just no stopping them! It's not getting old for me, although I would like to see something new at #1 in the UK chart. Loving the double Cheat Codes in the top 10! Really love both tracks still, both muuuuuch better than Sex. Britney provides my favourite new entry but also like the Gaga, Bruno, Tove and OneRepublic songs too! Great stuff :DHey Joseph, You're right there is no stopping them, and I guess the reason for that is the competition is very weak in comparison. There needs to be a big pop/dance anthem for them to have any chance to dropping. The double Cheat Codes is certainly a welcome addition to the chart. :) Glad you're a fan of the new entries too! Thanks for commenting. B-) Hi awardinary! arrow right.gif 1. Clean Bandit feat. I am disappointed to the media reaction for Britney, acting like she's not relevant anymore. She should still be a dominant force in the charts, but there seems to be nobody streaming her music. :( Thanks for commenting. B-)
