October 8, 200620 yr MCR - Welcome to the Black Parade : The first 105 seconds are brilliant & then it descends into a lame, derivative Sum41/Blink 182/Busted style rut.
October 8, 200620 yr 32 Nerina Pallot - Sophia http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/14FLR16CD.JPG [flash=450,350]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9YSTYCU64q8.swf Release date: 2-10-2006 Catalogue Number: 14FLR16CD Label: WARNERS reviews Sep 2006 Born in London to a half-French father and Indian-born mother, Pallot is the UK's hottest new female singer songwriter, and has gone on to sell 100,000 copies of her album 'Fires' off the back of first single 'Everybody's Gone To War'. Now she returns with the stunning and evocative, 'Sophia'. Written and produced by Nerina and remixed by Mitchell Froom (Daniel Powter 'Bad Day', Crowded House 'Fall At Your Feet' / 'Weather With You') it showcases Pallot's classical piano training and achingly beautiful voice. The CD contains her fantastic rendition of Kylie's 'Confide in Me', whilst the coloured limited edition 7 inch boasts a re-working of her album track 'Mr King', and also includes a free poster. Back to top track listing 1. Sophia 2. Confide In Me Discussion Thread Here Too bad the song didn't reach the top 20 like her last hit "Everyone's Gone To War" earlier this year. But if that video came out around 1993, it would have been on the Beavis And Butthead because of Beavis' obsession with fire.
October 8, 200620 yr I don't like this song at all. And I can't see it selling many physicals and it's downloads have slumped so I think barely top 15 next week, if that. Will depend if Woolworths stock it.
October 8, 200620 yr MCR - Welcome to the Black Parade : The first 105 seconds are brilliant & then it descends into a lame, derivative Sum41/Blink 182/Busted style rut. Yes, starts amazingly then goes no where and gets back a little near the end.
October 8, 200620 yr Will depend if Woolworths stock it. I can picture all those adolescent EMOs queueing up to buy it. :D

October 8, 200620 yr Author 21 (from 18) The Feeling - Never Be Lonely http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/1705007.JPG Following the Top 10 singles 'Sewn' and 'Fill My Little World', new MOR kids on the block, The Feeling, release 'Never Be Lonely', the third single off their smash hit album 'Twelve Stops Then Home'. Regarded as a particular album highlight, 'Never Be Lonely' brings to mind solo McCartney at his best and 10CC at their mid 70's peak with its perfect summery chorus and retro harmonies. - HMV The Feeling - Never Be Lonely [flash=450,350]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IGfBvovGa4A.swf track listing 1. October 8, 200620 yr The chart looks like an 80s throwback, with limited new entries and odd climbers
October 8, 200620 yr It's a shame that MCR have fallen a fairly big amount compared to their mid-week position but hopefully it will still be top 5 next week. :D

Heaven Help Us Discussion thread here This has a good shot to become the band biggest UK hit passing the #19 peak of I'm Not Okay in 2005 but also the review doesn't mention was that Liza Minelli makes a guess appearence on the album.
October 8, 200620 yr The charts have got so much more interesting & less predictable since the introduction of downloads.
October 8, 200620 yr This has a good shot to become the band biggest UK hit passing the #19 peak of I'm Not Okay in 2005 but also the review doesn't mention was that Liza Minelli makes a guess appearence on the album. I think it's a certainty that it will be the bands biggest single to date.
October 8, 200620 yr The charts have got so much more interesting & less predictable since the introduction of downloads. I think downloads have made the chart more predictable. -_- Well, the rule of allowing downloads on one week before physical release has at least.
October 8, 200620 yr I think it will be better when the introduce the rule of letting singles chart from when they're first avaliable. :)
October 8, 200620 yr I think it's a certainty that it will be the bands biggest single to date. Same here, I still think they can manage a top 10 hit, again poor new releases tomorrow
