December 20, 20168 yr gFtb3EtjEic The late Andy Williams tops the first section of our Christmas countdown! "It's The Most Wonderful Time of the Year" picked up exposure from a Marks & Spencers ad campaign in 2007, helping it make a debut in the UK charts. Jose Feliciano's "Feliz Navidad" is another personal favourite of mine from this rather colourful bunch, which includes the likes of former UK chart toppers Spitting Image (a satirical puppet show from the 80s!), Kanye West, S Club 7, Idina Menzel, and everyone's favourite one hit wonder Alyssa Reid (if everyone was Joseph) 62 33 Andy Williams - It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year 63 33 Stacey Solomon - Driving Home For Christmas 64 33 Spitting Image - Santa Claus Is On The Dole 65 33 S Club Seven - Perfect Christmas 66 33 Kanye West featuring Teyana Taylor and CyHi da Prynce - Christmas In Harlem 67 33 Darlene Love Christmas - Baby Please Come Home 68 33 Jose Feliciano - Feliz Navidad 69 32 Band Aid Twenty - Do They Know It's Christmas? 70 32 Alyssa Reid - Mistress Claus 71 32 Bananarama - Baby It's Christmas 72 32 Destiny's Child - Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer 73 32 Joni Mitchell - River 74 32 The Chipmunks & David Seville - The Chipmunk Song (Christmas Don't Be Late) 75 32 Idina Menzel & Michael Bublé - Baby It's Cold Outside 76 31 Mary J Blige and Jessie J - Do You Hear What I Hear? 77 31 Kim Wilde - Hey Mister Snowman 78 31 Tich - Love On Christmas Eve 79 31 Bobby Helms - Jingle Bell Rock 80 31 Kylie Minogue - Every Day's Like Christmas 81 31 Jackson Five - Someday At Christmas 82 29 George Michael - December Song (I Dreamed of Christmas) -x- RTtc2pM1boE

December 22, 20168 yr 0xSxt3fuvfc Please excuse my lateness with this section! December 22, 20168 yr Darlene Love, Sugababes, Johnny Mathis, Tom Jones, Gene Auty, Burl Ives & Julian Casablancas all my favs from this part of the chart. 2 number 1s as well!!
December 22, 20168 yr I would assume the much superior Bruce Springsteen version is further up the chart ;)
December 23, 20168 yr I would assume the much superior Bruce Springsteen version is further up the chart ;)You are correct! 76WFkKp8Tjs Now you'll start to recognize more of the songs as we get in the top 40. Both versions of 'The Power Of Love' are actually tied on points, but the spreadsheet put Gabrielle Aplin's fairly recent cover ahead of the original by Frankie Goes To Hollywood. Other entries from the past decade include Gabriella Cilmi, Justin Bieber, and Hurts. I forgot about the Beach Boys' 'Little Saint Nick' and probably would have voted for it had I remembered!! My all-time favorite from Faith Hill is in this section, from The Grinch movie with Jim Carrey, and I believe it was Cameron's top pointer as well. And of course Chris Rea's Driving Home From Christmas is currently in the top 40! 21 110 Elton John - Step into Christmas 22 108 Gabriella Cilmi - Warm This Winter 23 107 Justin Bieber - Mistletoe 24 105 Boney M - Mary’s Boy Child/Oh My Lord 25 97 The Darkness - Christmas Time (Don’t Let The Bells End) 26 80 Faith Hill - Where Are You Christmas? 27 74 Chris Rea - Driving Home For Christmas 28 70 David Bowie & Bing Crosby - Peace On Earth / Little Drummer Boy 29 68 Chris DeBurgh - A Spaceman Came Travelling 30 68 The Pretenders - 2000 Miles 31 67 Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band - Santa Claus Is Coming To Town 32 66 Mel & Kim - Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree 33 65 Nat King Cole - The Christmas Song 34 63 Beach Boys - Little Saint Nick 35 40 Kate Bush - December Will Be Magic Again 36 39 Hurts - All I Want For Christmas Is New Year's Day 37 39 Girls Aloud - Not Tonight Santa 38 39 Gabrielle Aplin - The Power of Love 39 39 Aly & AJ - Greatest Time Of Year 40 39 Frankie Goes to Hollywood - The Power of Love 1QYBofRTAxE
