A beautiful send-off for Jimmy there, even though I'm saddened by the decision to axe him. Not the most essential character, nor the strongest actor, but part of the Emmerdale furniture and I loved how he and Nicola proved a marriage can go the distance in soapland.

I had wondered if we'd actually find out what caused Jimmy to crash so I'm glad it's not being brushed off and will now actually build into a proper storyline. It'll be interesting to see where Gabby fits in though, surely she wasn't the cause of it.

Got jumpscared and thought when Joe randomly collapsed they were gonna off him instead of Dawn I’m guessing there’ll be more to come for him though and he’ll have some lasting injury given he seems to be all okay despite the state he was in at the marquee.

This has been a great week of episodes though. Really sad ending for Dawn, and my heart breaks for Nicola 💔 Gabby being the root of it all will be interesting to see what happens between Nicola and Laurel if anything I guess.

My only gripe with that scene where was everybody not a single nurse or person around surely someone making that much commotion in a corridor would if triggered someone's curiosity, like how long was he actually sat before that nurse finally appeared
