December 23, 20169 yr Starving is still brilliant  Such a shame to see that appear in the Hatechart, even if it was really low. I hope this can stick around for a little longer, the drop is just sublime :music:
December 23, 20169 yr Greg handily ignoring all the songs he mentioned as potentials last week :heehee:

Biography Aubrey Drake Graham (born October 24, 1986) is a Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor from Toronto, Ontario. Drake initially gained recognition as an actor on the teen drama series Degrassi: The Next Generation in the early 2000s. Intent on pursuing a solo career as a rapper, he departed the series in 2007 following the release of his debut mixtape Room for Improvement. He would go onto release two further independent projects, before signing to Lil Wayne's Young Money Entertainment in June 2009. Drake would release his debut studio album, Thank Me Later, in 2010 to critical and commercial success. Thank Me Later would debut at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200 and was soon certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). His next two releases, 2011's Take Care and 2013's Nothing Was the Same, were worldwide successes, with each being certified platinum in U.S. sales, and the former earning him his first Grammy Award for Best Rap Album. They were followed by two mixtapes, with the trap influenced If You're Reading This It's Too Late, and a collaboration with Future for What a Time to Be Alive, in 2015. Each mixtape saw widespread commercial success, with the former being certified double platinum in the U.S., as well as to rave critical reception. Drake would release his fourth album, Views, in 2016, breaking numerous chart records in the process. Views sat atop the Billboard 200 for ten nonconsecutive weeks, becoming the first album by a solo male to remain at number one the longest in over 10 years. It also saw Drake leading the Billboard Hot 100 and the Billboard 200 simultaneously for eight weeks, breaking the previous record of seven held by both Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston. It also achieved triple platinum status in the U.S., and earned over 1 million album-equivalent units in the first week of its release. Alongside his Grammy Award win, Drake has won three Juno Awards and six BET Awards. He has the most number one singles on the Hot Rap Songs, Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay and Rhythmic Charts. Drake had developed into other ventures, including his OVO Sound record label with Noah "40" Shebib, in early 2012. Drake also acts as a producer, producing under the pseudonym of Champagne Papi. Using the the "OVO" moniker, Drake has also marketed a clothing line, as well as having his own channel on Beats 1. He is also currently acting as the global ambassador for NBA franchise, the Toronto Raptors. - Wikipedia Top 100 Chart History 2009 42 Forever (Drake feat. December 23, 20169 yr I love how Greg describes 2009 as the 'revolution' Sorta true as although Matt and James sold well it has t been the same since then!
December 23, 20169 yr Glad to see Band Aid top 40 again this year, Elton John and Andy Williams can't be far off with their festive offerings.
December 23, 20169 yr Drake sleighing this week http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/ed2305b7.png wonder what happened to the More Life project that was meant to be released this month though, is it still coming?
December 23, 20169 yr Howdy, disco citizens. First time listening to the chart in months, so looking forward to hearing what's in it, I probably won't know any of these songs, so it'll be a learning experience. Hoping Inspiral Carpets made the charts, but I'm not holding out hope. This Drake song is not very good.
December 23, 20169 yr Fully expecting One Dance, Fake Love and probably Too Good and Controlla to have huge climbs and linger around in the new year for a while :(.
December 23, 20169 yr wonder what happened to the More Life project that was meant to be released this month though, is it still coming? :( I really hope we get it soon, I could do with a few more Drake songs in the charts.

December 23, 20169 yr Merry Christmas Everyone is such a feel good song :D But I think this is the first time that Shakin' Stevens outpeaks Wizzard and Slade? (or maybe the second time after last year)

Adding a tropical house tint to the plaintive, bittersweet acoustic original, Blue enlisted the talents of young British singer Dakota, whose sultry vocals helped carry the song to the top of 17 international charts, including number one slots in Australia, Scotland, and both the U.K. and U.S. dance charts. December 23, 20169 yr Shakin' Stevens really has had a comeback these past few years, great to see :D
December 23, 20169 yr ugh I really hope 15 isn't the peak for By Your Side, it deserves more. Mmm, I think it sounds like two different songs are being forced together. I don't mind it but at the same time it's not a patch on 'Perfect Strangers' for me.
