with 13 Xmas songs dropping out next week, I'll be very surprised if One Dance doesn't re-enter. :P

This was my favourite during last winter

Oh they are actually playing the whole top 40 :o Not the top 25 like they usually do. I miss when the show actually was like this.

The Snakehips got old for me quickly, I haven't played it in ages so it actually quite refreshing to hear it today.

Edited by Kieran.

So Rockabye hasn't even made the year-end top 40 after 8 weeks at #1? I know singles take a long time to rack up sales these days but that's ridiculous!

Still, it'll probably outsell most of this year's hits in the long run anyway.

Rockabye was 40k behind Snakehips last week so it might just sneak in

GOOD. NOW STAY DROPPED OUT.

It'll be back next week, along with lots of other old stale stuff thanks to the Christmas songs dropping out.

SOTME is probably somewhere between #41 - #45 ;)

I'm just hoping that the ratio change is enough to kick it out.

Biography

Little Mix are a British girl group formed in 2011 during the eighth series of the UK version of The X Factor. They are the first and, so far, only group to win the competition. Following their victory, they signed with Simon Cowell's record label Syco Music and released a cover of Damien Rice's "Cannonball" as their winner's single. The members are Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jesy Nelson.

Little Mix released their debut album DNA in 2012, which peaked inside the top 10 in ten countries including the UK and US. This made Little Mix the first girl group since the Pussycat Dolls to reach the US top 5 with their debut album, as well as earning the highest debut US chart position by a British girl group, breaking the record previously held by the Spice Girls. In the UK, the album spawned the number-one single "Wings". The group's sophomore effort Salute, which was released in 2013, became their second album to debut inside the top 10 in both the UK and US. The album produced two top 10 singles in their home country; "Move" and "Salute". In 2015 Little Mix released their third studio album Get Weird which became their highest charting and best-selling album to date in the UK. The album's lead single "Black Magic" became the group's third number one single in the UK and was also nominated for two Brit Awards in 2016. As of May 2016 the group has achieved three platinum certified albums and ten certified singles in the UK. - Wikipedia

FOOTNOTE: please take note that all chart runs, peaks, etc in the EOY chart posts will be accurate as of LAST week, due to the nature of today's chart show! Thanks for bearing with me guys!
SOTME is probably somewhere between #41 - #45 ;)

or not !

Glad the girls made it !

Edited by BigMixer

yay, good to hear top! I really hope Stressed Out has somehow made it too because of its really long run outside the top fourty - can't complain with hearing this regardless, though
I've not got over September Song missing the Top 40 yet :snif:

at least you didn't predict it to be #10 in the chart :,)

Oh my god at the top 40!

Brenda Lee...Paul McCartney...Elton John...! Hilarious, one thing is for sure, the UK loves Xmas music!

Little Mix are lower than I thought they would be. Still great they got into the top 40.

Heathens is just dull :(.

Edited by Kieran.

wait if SOTME is above All My Friends does this mean it's eligible for that BRITs nod?
Well it would've been a bit odd if Little Mix hadn't made it. It's funny isn't it how it used to be the big hits from Q4 would do really well on the YE chart, but now it's better to release earlier in the year to keep racking up the sales over a longer period. Kinda makes the YE chart less meaningful than it used to be really.
