The end of week official position for Tears on the Dancefloor is slightly worse than the mid week chart predicted as it drops to number 29.

Edit (May 31 2017, 02:24 PM): Tears on the Dancefloor has a midweek position of number 31, remaining top 40 looks safe.

Tears on the Dancefloor still has potential to hang around 75-100 for a while I reckon.
Hopefully it does stay around, and im sure the tour will help it climb, for now its good to see it still in the top 40. It has already done so much better than most expected.

Tears on the Dancefloor was number 45 in this weeks first set of midweeks.

Nothing special in this album.

Its a very good album full of wonderful pop songs and as strong as their first 3 albums in parts.

I am unsure if i would say Tears on the Dancefloor is their best album, what i would say from their main 4 studio albums (i am not including the Christmas album) its as good. To their credit (in my opinion) Step One, Steptacular, Buzz and Tears on the Dancefloor are all very solid pop albums with a high measure of strong pop songs.

Tears on the Dancefloor is definitely my favourite album they've done so far, it's very consistent.

I agree that the 4 albums listed are great pop albums, they all have some great tracks too outside the singles.

Thats how i often judge how good an album is, are any of the songs outside the singles good and with Steps they have passed that test on the studio albums.

Edit (Jun 9 2017, 07:23 PM): Tears on the Dancefloor is number 46 this week.

Edit (Jun 12 2017, 07:59 PM): Tears on the Dancefloor is number 60 in the midweek chart released today.

Steps making the Top40 earlier this year was my chart highlight of the year so far.
Seeing Scared of the Dark with an Official Top 40 entry was the chart moment of the year, the iTunes number 1 was so great to see too as was the album doing so well. To sum it up Steps, are the chart highlight for the year.
In the first midweeks for this week Tears on The Dancefloor is currently number 66.
Album up to 32 in today's mids yay

While it's great to see the album climbing im disappointed with number 51 this week as it's 19 places lower than it was at the start of the week. Good to see the ultimate collection on the rise too.
