omg at Rellik, can't remember the last time a drama sunk so low on BBC One!! :o

Can't really blame it, I'm struggling to sustain interest/understanding of what is even going on.

Even SS-GB didn't perform as bad and that was a big flop. Hell, even Redwater held up better.

I think that the last time a BBC drama at 9pm got lower than 1.53m was when 1.3m watched an episode of New Blood (Wednesday 6th July 2016) although that was both out-of-slot (it usually aired on a Thursday) and the series premiered on iPlayer before appearing on TV. The Living & The Dead (aired June-August 2016) had a few episodes sub-2m and The Musketeers rated 1.6m for one episode (this was thrown all over the schedule though, alternating between Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays but having no consistency whatsoever).

22:00 The Jonathan Ross Show - 2.39m (16.7%)

The X Factor got only 2.7m during the time it clashed last night with Strictly! Awful!

Chris & Kem (off of Love Island) only got like 300k too which is half the normal average for the slot. Shows that, no matter what the ‘contestants’ or TV producers think, the show/format is always bigger than its stars!

BIG RATING ALERT!!! I think that makes Strictly the fourth biggest show of the year behind One Love Manchester, Sherlock and Broadchurch.

The X Factor averaged 3.71m (15.9%) during the Strictly clash and 5.72m (25.9%) once Strictly had finished. It did hit a low of 2.79m but I'm guessing this was during an advert.

#DoctorFoster took the #GoldenMinuteUK yesterday (not #GBBO!). At 21.57, 7.6m people were watching the @BBCOne drama.

Doctor Foster averaged 6.17m with Series 2, just slightly down on the 6.22m of Series 1 (although the share is slightly higher - 30.3% vs. 29.7%). Averaging just the first four episodes, Series 2 beat Series 1 (5.91m vs. 5.83m) - the finale of Series 1 rated 7.8m after Bake Off rated 13.4m just before it.

Strong rating to end the series for Doctor Foster. I imagine the BBC will be keen for a third with how well it's done again this series!
It'll be interesting to see how the Bake Off ratings change now that Doctor Foster is over. I imagine that there's a lot of people who switch over for DF at 9pm and watch the rest on catch-up, so will be interesting to see if this leads to a bump in the average.

Apprentice :(

Although, as far as I’m aware, Doc Martin is tougher competition than it usually has got.

lots of people didn't know it was back as well. I think that figure will rise.
