Eastenders seems like it is being affected by the crap ratings surrounding it and the strong ratings on ITV; it should really be hitting 6m on Mondays.

October 10, 20178 yr omg i thought it was bad when Countryfile was beating it! Seems so odd to see it on the same level as Emmerdale! Liar has done brilliantly for ITV!

In fact, excluding +1, it beat the first episode too.

Good that The Apprentice rose week-on-week and made the 5m mark. It'll be getting hard competition than Doc Martin when I'm a Celebrity returns so it needs to do as well as possible in the meantime. Doc Martin, however, remains unfazed (it's ratings the past three episodes have been 5.07m, 5.06m and 5.07m!). -x- Bringing back the 28-day data posts. I'll post the Top 10 ratings of the week (including +1 where necessary) followed by other notable shows / notable rises. BARB's 28-Day Data (4th September - 10th September) 10.60m | Strictly Come Dancing (+ 310k) 10.40m | Doctor Foster (+ 1.68m) 9.53m | The Great British Bake Off (+ 300k) 8.67m | Strike: The Silkworm (+ 1.36m) 8.02m | Coronation Street (Wed) (+ 120k) 7.57m | The X Factor (Sun) (+ 110k) 7.47m | Coronation Street (Fri; P1) (+ 110k) 7.37m | Eastenders (Thu) (+ 140k) 7.31m | Eastenders (Tue) (+ 140k) 7.29m | Coronation Street (Fri; P2) (+ 130k) 7.23m | The X Factor (Sat) (+ 130k) 6.93m | Victoria (+ 370k) 6.46m | Cold Feet (+ 720k) 5.09m | Safe House (+ 480k)
October 12, 20178 yr Author In regards to the most watched programmes of 2017 so far (7-day data and including +1), this year has seen 7 programmes pass the 10m mark. Last year had a total of 11 programmes pass 10m. We've got the likes of Blue Planet II, I'm a Celebrity and the New Year's' Eve fireworks coming up which are all likely to reach 10m, which would take us up to 10. I think that the Bake Off final could actually hit 10m too, which would match last year's 11 programmes. Can't think of anything else that is due to air this year that could get 10m, but I suppose something at Christmas could possibly stand a chance at doing so.

First tx since May to break a million viewers on E4 (also #TBBT) #RedDwarfXII debuted on @davechannel with 700k/3.7%: it's the most watched programme on Dave in 2017 @DougRDNaylor @RedDwarfHQ @babycowLtd Ambulance ended on a series high last night; an average of 3.69m watched the full series.
October 13, 20178 yr Author The last series of Bake Off saw its finale jump 3.62m from the 10.38m average the series rated in the first nine episodes before it. I don't know if Channel 4 will see that sort of jump but a 2m increase definitely seems plausible which would actually push them into the 8m region. That would likely give it a 10m+ rating in the official ratings published by BARB, too.
October 13, 20178 yr The last episode on BBC might have influenced that a little more than usual. 2015’s jump may be a better reference point
October 13, 20178 yr Author The last episode on BBC might have influenced that a little more than usual. 2015’s jump may be a better reference point  That had an even bigger jump - 3.88m up from the average of 9.52m for the first 9 episodes.
October 13, 20178 yr Author It's alright, I thought you might have been onto something there! I think this year's final could even exceed most of our expectations tbh. I don't watch the programme but it would be nice if it could remain stable on Channel 4 in following series.
