This will resume on Monday. I want some strong top 8 predictions please.

08. LMLY (Unfortunately)

07 SLS

06 Salute

05 DNA

04 SOTME

03 Black Magic

02 Touch

01 Move

I genuinely have no clue, but I'll have a stab at it regardless:

8) SLS

7) Salute

6) SOTME

5) LMLY

4) DNA

3) Black Magic

2) Move

1) Touch

Wow 'Wings' at #10, to be honest I did not see that one coming and it really does show how far they've come since then, I mean normally don't debut #1's normally end up in the top 5 in these rates at least. Anyway they totally got it right with this one, it needed to be bold and brash, while making a statement and introducing themselves properly to the public along with a fantastic memorable chorus, and gladly it worked and set them on the path to becoming massive superstars and it also helps that this was massive success and sold really well and had good span on the charts. So yeah a fantastic strong debut that pushes all the right buttons.

'Hair'- I predicted this as #10 and ended up at #9, so I wasn't that off on my predictions. At first I weren't that keen on this, but when it became a single it instantly grew on me and follows on well from the massive 3 previous singles, and yeah releasing it was a pretty smart move considering it went top 40 as an instant grat, they could have easily just phoned it in, considering that it as single #4 and the album had already sold quite a bit, but gladly they did put a lot of effort into this and having Sean Paul rap on it does bring new life to it and along with a decent music video that ended the era with a bang and giving them another hit with a lengthy chart run. Plus I had hoped that they'd release the title track as well, but there was no need in the end as moving on to the next era after this was a much better move.

I think that 'Secret Love Song' may drop next, but I'll probably be wrong or way off, but here's my predictions anyway =

01. Move

02. Black Magic

03. DNA

04. Touch

05. Shout Out To My Ex

06. Love Me Like You

07. Salute

08. Secret Love Song

Little Mix's biggest ballad comes in at a respectable #8, boasting an impressive average of 8.58. I do really like this song, though slightly preferring Part 2 these days. Overall I find it a bit saccharine, and I think Jason doesn't really fit the song's narrative. Another thing that disappoints me is the lack of harmonies, there's no part of the song that more than one of them sings together. But the chorus and melody is still undeniable and I'm glad it managed to be such a huge hit for them. It always feels bigger than its official #6 peak, which still niggles at me (as with LMLY, Hair and Touch's peaks), and I put that partly down to the very simplistic video they had problems with, getting released about a month too late.

A huge amount of high scores here, including a handful of 11s, so we're clearly getting to people's favourites now. Unfortunately, the song was hindered slightly by quite a lot of average scores, which stopped it from making the top 5.

Secret Love Song definitely wasn't helped by the video and the delay around it. I'd agree that Jason's part doesn't really fit with the narrative of the song- tbh I actually preferred the version they did with Nathan Sykes
Secret Love Song is excellent, but it should be just them (since his name wasn't used to help them in the US anyway) with SLS part II lyrics.

I don't deny that Jason helped the song sell in the UK though, it wasn't long after his massive #1 single that they pushed this. Though it was unfortunate timing that Get Ugly was pushed at the same time as this and probably stole some of its airplay.
Defiantly the correct choice for the next song out. Having Nathan as the feature official feature would have suited the song definitely and probably his team wouldn't of made issues with the LGBT theme it was originally supposed to have. Great song though, at first I remember finding it so overrated (I always favoured A.D.I.D.A.S. or Lightning for 3rd single), but I live for it now.

But who says it was Jason's team anyway? It's not like it wasn't Little Mix's team that scrapped the original Change Your Life video..

It wasn't confirmed? I thought It was, I beg your pardon. Anyway I still don't enjoy Jason on the track. And I do like Jason (As much as I dislike Wiggle and Get Ugly).

Secret Love Song is my favourite  I must admit though, I go back to Pt 2 more these days. The idea of Jason being "in love with someone's baby" feels forced in the original, that's my only issue because they work well together otherwise.

The top 8 are all big favourites (You can see how popular SLS was). I can imagine there's some upset to come, as the struggle is real when it comes to making the top 5.
Secret Love Song is garbage, both video and song. Cute that it made them huge in Asia though.

'Secret Love Song' is amazing. I'm not quite sure I'd give it my 11 now, but I definitely don't regret doing so! Absolutely stunning. In both forms. I kinda like that there are no harmonies, due to it showcasing all of their vocals individually. It's quite refreshing for them!

The video though... I really wish we weren't spoilt with the original concept, coz as beautiful as the new one seemed visually, it's a song that really could have benefitted from having a storyline like the one rumoured!

07 'Shout Out To My Ex' [Average: 8.6]

Chart Peak: #1

Sales: 700k

Highest: Foucault, Cameron, awardinary™, Matt1989, SamJudd, Haus, Samantha1989, MrLoverboy, RobBob, (10) Juliano, Outstanding Mixer, Karl., MixedUp, ★ Jay ★, (11)

Lowest: christmdhas (3), Andrew. (4), Scene (5.5), Mike Sugafan, Nick F1, mr_pmt (6)

I don't know about you, but this has come a bit of a shock to me... I had to check over it 3 times. I mean, 8.6 is a very decent average, but #7 is a lot lower than I expected. 'Shout Out To My Ex', along with 'Wings' and 'Black Magic' is one of their most important songs. 'Black Magic' put them fully back on the map, and 'Shout out To My Ex' knocked them out of the park. The extreme success of the single was predicted by nobody. Most people were hoping they might have a chance of a #1 with this, with a normal release, but the Sunday X Factor release put them out of the game. In the end they managed the #1 by small 2k, so it was very close BUT it was still a huge achievement for them, given they missed the highest sales proportion of the week. It zoomed to #1 on iTunes and was the fastest song to do that since Adele's 'Hello', and also made it to #1 on Spotify within 4 days, being their first song to achieve this. It went on to spend 3 weeks at #1 on the official chart, is now Brit Nominated and could end up being their highest selling single.

It may not be the most unique song ever, but I still don't get how this song achieved some of those low to mediocre scores. 'Shout Out To My Ex' is a breath of fresh air in comparison to everything else that was a big hit in 2016 and is just undeniably infectious, euphoric and just down right fun. After going a bit too hard with it at first, I went off it a bit for a short while, but it's now back in my affections. It bops for days and that's that.
