He already re-released it with more songs the following year so can't see him releasing another one until later in his career. Will be interesting to see how it fades over the next 5-10 years!

Unfortunately last year showed an improvement in it's fortunes from previous year, the increasing influence of streaming on the Album market will probably guarantee a Top 10 peak each year for a few years yet!

2011 peaked at #1 (11 weeks)

2012 peaked at #2 (6 weeks)

2013 peaked at #7 (8 weeks)

2014 peaked at #7 (8 weeks)

2015 peaked at #12 (9 weeks)

2016 peaked at #6 (10 weeks)

His album streams in Christmas week will be insane. I would have predicted him to get about 5-7 songs in the chart if it weren't for the artist cap coming in. Last year he had three, 'It's Beginning To Look..' (#27), 'Santa Claus Is Coming..' (#98) and 'Holly Jolly Christmas' (#100)

Should be an easy #1 for Liam Gallagher... although an Elvis/RPO Christmas album  could do well in coming weeks.
I don’t know what to expect for Liam Gallagher.

I feel like it’ll either sell 20k or 100k

Looks like it'll be the latter going by today's midweek sales flash!

Do we have a total? Mint Royale has tweeted that Liam's Sales are about a Quarter of Ed's first day Sales which were 232k so that would probably put Liam in the range 50k-58k ? Doubt Liam will make 100k but decent Sales nonetheless.

Why have a bunch of George Michael's albums reappeared in the upper part of the chart?

Monday Night's Tribute Documentary on Channel 4 was very well received by fans.

"Listen Without Prejudice" is getting a re-release on Friday, definitely think it will go Top 5.

What did Jessie do with the last release? Niall should really break 60k as a big pop star with a fair few releases prior to release!
No idea, don’t know where to look for her opening sales for previous albums. There seems to be more hype this time around. Alone is top 40 and she has multiple signings this week, as well as limited editions on her website so...
She is a big artist and I love her but compared to Pink/Taylor I can't imagine her doing more than 25k?
Big week in the albums. Niall Horan and Jessie Ware should both clear 30k

Jessie Ware won't come close, last Album 'Tough Love' opened in Oct 2014 (at #9) with Sales of 10,684.

Suspect the reissue from George Michael (and possibly The Smiths) will outperform her Album.

Definitely an under-appreciated Artist.

Yeh George Michael will sell 30k plus following the response to the documentary this week!
