Good to see some tracks recovering after the weekend effect -

 8 Dua Lipa - Be The One

 9 Sean Paul/Dua Lipa - No Lie

 15 Tinie Tempah/Tinashe - Text From Your Ex

 19 M.O/Kent Jones - Not In Love

Did Sia get much of a TOTD effect?

Basically nothing - It's #113 :nocheer:

Not really shaping up to be a hit then, that's disappointing.

I had a dream last night that Ed Sheeran released another surprise track and was set to occupy the Top 3 singles. I think I need to get out more

I think the new mix is just a bit flat personally. I'm so used to the album version that the additional xylophone in the verses adds nothing really, in fact it just dilutes some of the track's power and energy.

I think if she'd pushed the Alan Walker remix she'd be looking at another hit, albeit probably not a huge one but certainly bigger than it's shaping up to be at the moment. That remix offers a Eurodance beat that we haven't really heard in the mainstream for about 15 years and I think it would stand out more than yet another tropical influenced radio mix.

Be The One will probably get added to Hot Hits UK on Spotify within days though, her other singles were. Once that happens it'll be top 50 on Spotify within days.

Let's hope so.

I would love to see it become even a top 20 hit for her.

It's damn close to #04.

You have to wonder at the mentality of people who ONLY seem to listen to the top hits uk list on streaming sites, do they not look for their own favourite tracks? I know I do!

About 8 years I would say, the last Eurodance song to make the charts was 'In The Heat Of the Night' by Star Pilots in early 2009. Galantis Love On Me comes close to Eurodance but if the Alan Walker remix of Sia was released and became a hit it would have been quite a refreshing dance sound in the charts I agree.

Not likely. Her streaming ain't strong but it's very strong compared to his

Dua

Wish the album hadn't been pushed so far back but when the decision was made 'No Lie' was looking as though it would struggle to go Top 40 and 'Be The One' was nowhere to be seen now it looks as though she will have Top 10 and Top 20 singles this Friday :cheer:

It's already Top 25 in the mids whereas Robbie was struggling to make Top 50 when he was this high on iTunes.

Had the ratio not changed I would imagine she would have been down at 35-40.

It's obviously got a bit more streaming than Robbie and has potential to rise. I was just referencing that as an example of what I hope it won't do because the difference between sales and streaming is probably the biggest gap I've seen since Robbie first charted.
