I'm hoping the Taylor family will get ditched ASAP.

Reckon they'll do a year maybe two and then contracts won't be renewed. I'm slightly unsure what they are really going to bring to the show. I'd like to see a bit more depth other than a noisy family that's going to cause controversy.

Also SOC running after Laurie Brett after an argument screaming "Lady! Lady!". Who said Eastenders couldn't do drama anymore?

He sounds truly bonkers! I'd want him back if the show wasn't so shit...

JESUS CHRIST NOBODY CARES ABOUT DEREK

I decided against not watching after learning of SOC's firing. Last weeks episodes were actually pretty good. Tonight went back to being utter shite. f***ing Robbie...just ugh.

Speaking of Robbie, I'd LOVE Carol back.

It felt weird watching tonight after learning of SOC getting the boot, like you could almost pick up on things that might be wrong behind the scenes.

It was nice seeing Yolande and Patrick together, especially the reference to the choir singing Aretha Franklin at their wedding, but the rest was boring.

I wonder if the cast had a mass revolt and threatened to quit or something if SOC didn't go. It seems like he pissed just about everybody off
Wouldn't surprise me, if he had it in for the Mitchells god knows what other niggles he had with others in the cast, I feel like the few we know might just be the start

Really is lovely seeing Yolande back. I've said it before but like Honey, she was a mistake axing.

Jury's still out on Robbie tho.

"Plans are set to include a prominent death of a lead character, a hard-to-watch family abuse storyline and a potential shooting."

The Daily Star are so full of shite
