Robbie is giving Johnny a run for his money with this acting.

SONIA <3333333333333333333 The show's SAVIOUR *____*

Can I just discuss that Derek and Johnny scene btw.. It's sort of angered me. I find it ludicrous and totally out of character / belittling for him to square up to Johnny ANGRY that he didn't say anything... like gay people in 2017 don't have their own insecurities and fears of homophobia. Just because he has dealt with it his whole life doesn't mean future generations don't themselves.

I am probably Johnny's biggest hater, but I found that scene totally unrealistic and below the belt - as it seemed to suggest that we are privileged and more capable of speaking out against hate. I for one would do exactly what Johnny did because I can at times be terrified about revealing my sexuality to people I don't know... It's an on-going struggle we all face and we all need to support each other and respect that we all have fears and worries no matter what our age. I don't know the scene really spoke to me in all the wrong ways. :(

SONIA YASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

See I still like the character of Johnny but, totally ignoring his acting abilities for a second, it upsets me that THIS is the best they can do with a young gay man in 2017  the Derek stuff was absolutely terrible and not remotely relatable for others like Johnny in the real world. It's a huge shame I think, there is so much they could talk about and so many messages to send out, but EastEnders haven't even taken one chance to do that since bringing Johnny back.

The market stuff was so terrible I actually found it funny. I can't believe they're putting that out, expecting us to relate to it and find it entertaining. And why does Denise just waft in and out of the Minute Mart every 5 minutes??

I know, it was a truly awful scene for all sorts of reasons, but it's the message it sends out that is most offensive. I'm thinking that Derek's criminal record is something to do with the homophobic experiences from his youth, perhaps he lashed out at somebody? I think that's what the scene was meant to be building up to, but the execution was just diabolical.

The training centre scene was hilarious, I was in stitches with Donna's comments. It be funny if the producers make Donna and Robbie getting it together at some point. Robbie's acting is still wet behind the ears

It wouldn't be in Derek's character to square up to Johnny. Just wouldn't happen. Derek having an criminal record, What?

That's f***ed.

I can't see how that was the worst episode ever? Donna was in absolute FORM and Sonia had an iconic return.

The one thing that let it down for me was Derek being a prick to Johnny.

Donna was the only moment of goodness but even couldn't make up for what we had to endure. I know he wasn't exactly going to be saving the show, but I can't believe even Dean Gaffney could settle with the cringy sitcom scenes of tonight. The stuff with Dot on the floor talking to that bloody cat and the forced, offensive social commentary between Johnny with his "I've shit myself" face and Derek with his mumbling and bumbling had me wanting to turn the channel off.
I only half had it on and I could tell it was easily at least ONE OF the worst ever  The Derek and Johnny stuff was excruciating... Why is that the only thing they can come up with him for, omg they're both gay give them a scene!1!1
If EastEnders is so bad now, why do you lot still watch it? Is it only to complain about on here?!
Some sort of misguided loyalty; I've been watching for nearly 13 years. I have considered not watching, at least until SOC's name is off the credits, but there is some sort of joy that comes out of dragging the show in here.
