Iggy's reputation was in tatters and was seen as a figure of ridicule by around mid-late 2015, in part because of her social media. That was probably the main contributing factor in her quick fall from grace.

I mean it's natural to compare Nicki and Cardi - they're the two biggest female rappers by a country mile right now. I do get the impression that Nicki is a bit threatened by Cardi's arrival, I mean, she has two Billboard #1s already while Nicki still doesn't even have one. This campaign just feels quite desperate all around, and whether it's Nicki trying to reclaim the throne she thinks she has, or just trying to drum up some publicity, is open to interpretation I guess. However, the release date being pushed back then getting a "surprise" release on its original day, plus pretty much everything surrounding FEFE, makes it feel like Nicki is trying her best to get back ahead of Cardi to me.

I love Invasion of Privacy but Queen>>>>>>>>>>

As much as I’m loving this album, Fefe is just as good or better than most of it.

Just a shame the main artist is such a hideous human being.

I accidentally listened to some of this album this week and I was pleasantly surprised. A lot more hip hop than I expected which feels more authentic Nicki than her poppier tracks (although I prefer her BOPS personally but this album feels more 'her'.) 'Majesty' in particular was impressive.

Still #1 on Apple Music in the UK and #2 in the US yesterday so shouldn't have too harsh drop on charts next week

(we all know urban audience prefers AM over Spotify)

Accordig to HDD she sold 190k, 50k behind travie scott
Not bad at all but I can see a hella BIG drop next week. She’s having an absolute meltdown on Twitter right now

Nicki I can understabd being frustrated by the praise Cardi gets as a beef-filled fair rapper, not great writer, decent performer, who is nonetheless hailed all over as the best thing since sliced bread while not initially paying her dues to the women - especially in this case, woman - who paved the way for her to do what she does.

A lot of it is media hype but on the flip, Nicki IS better than Cardi. She has amazing command of wordplay and vocabulary etc. that Cardi - at least so early in her career - could only dream of. Just as I can imagine Missy would have been pissed off if Nicki two or three singles in had been touted in the media as better than her in every single way and Missy at the same time dismissed as old and old hat and past it, while radio silence from Nicki or her team. It's only fair.

Half of twitter hates her now because she “dragged” Lady Gaga for collabing with R Kelly. That’s not really what happened but it’s how everyone is seeing it

'Ganja Burn' is amazing! I always hate when albums open with the highlight, as seems to be the case here. Not that the other songs aren't good, but still... after 'Ganja Burn' expectations are too high.

Nicki should let it go just like what all Nicki's fan were saying about Lil' Kim for years. Nicki's entire image of the black barbie/queen is a carbon copy of Lil 'Kim and she paid 0 respect. Nothing original in there. 'Barbie Dreams' is another great example of something Kim has literally done before.

''Dreams of f***ing an R&B dick'' - 1996

''Dreams of f***ing one of these little rappers'' - 2018

...over the same sample.

Nicki has no right to be upset about someone stealing the limelight.

And she's now having another meltdown on twitter cos Billboard announced Travis is #1 in the album chart

Ha I saw that. Queen sold 185k and she should be proud.

It is also #1 in a recordbreaking 86 countries (on iTunes which she forgets to mention and even PRISM did that in 100+) :magic:

Our faves aren't safe

omg this meltdown :') it's beyond offputting lol

Shame cause I listened to Queen earlier and mostly enjoyed it. Some of the digs throughout are a bit over the line (fair enough calling out DJ Khaled for his comments a while ago but she didn't need to comment on his weight lmao) but there's plenty of good lyrics too. I could do with it being shorter though, I don't think 19 tracks is really necessary :')

Can we have more people talking about Come See About Me  I love hearing vulnerable Nicki on tracks like this, it reminds me of Grand Piano which was my Pinkprint highlight. Much more appealing than her "queen" persona on just about every other track on this album lol

Oh don't get me wrong I actually enjoyed big parts of the album but this meltdown is just too good not to watch
It makes sense really, I’m glad she’s prioritising that over the chart position. Unless the sample isn’t cleared and then it’s all for nothing I guess haha

Weird that I ever thought this 🤡

It’s sad to see her go off like this...she should just be pleased that it’s generally been well received. The whole fight for #1 business is so offputting.
