We've seen Justin Bieber, The Weeknd, Drake, Beyoncé etc have a fair few of their album tracks debut inside the official top 40, but where will the album tracks from Ed Sheeran's '/' debut?

Do you think any will be top 10? Top 20? And how many will be top 40? And how much will they sell?

PLUS - how many streams do you think the album will get, do you think every track from it will be top 50 on Spotify?

Predictions pls :D

Yeah, I thought that could happen! I wouldn't write off every single track being top 20 either.

What's the highest streams an album has ever had officially -

25 wasn't available to stream for several months. So probably Bieber, Drake or The Weeknd.

Starboy by The Weeknd managed 15,854 sales from streaming - 15.854 million streams - on the chart dated 2nd December 2016. That's the highest so far..

The entire album charted on the singles chart at:

#3 “Starboy”

#9 “I Feel It Coming”

#17 “Party Monster”

#26 “Rockin’”

#30 “Sidewalks”

#39 “Reminder”

#43 “Six Feet Under”

#47 “Secrets”

#51 “False Alarm”

#53 “A Lonely Night”

#55 “True Colors”

#68 “Love To Lay”

#73 “Stargirl Interlude”

#74 “Die For You”

#76 “All I Know”

#78 “Attention”

#79 “Ordinary Life”

#81 “Nothing Without You”

Lemonade got most of the tracks in the top 100 didn't it?

I remember every track being top 40 on iTunes at least

'÷' will most certainly beat that, with at least double that amount of streams.

At least, if he released another single now by the way and that achieved near the levels of streaming the other two singles had he'd already be generating around 20K in made-up streaming album sales. !

Thanks - pretty impressive! Ed will be streamed 50k times imo, he will be simply huge on that format, unless he holds back the streaming release like Adele!?

Far more than that, surely. :w00t:

but do you guys think he'll put it on Spotify on week 1? or will do like Adele, Coldplay, even the 1975... cos sure he'd do lots on Spotify and all, but sure he'd move more CDs if it wasn't available for streaming...

I'm 99.9% sure it'll be on Spotify. Ed Sheeran doesn't seem like the kind of artist that won't put his album on Spotify.

(plus we've seen how much Ed cares about where his songs chart so I think it'll be in his best interests to have the album available to stream and I bet he'll be wanting some high charting tracks )
