February 7, 20178 yr NEW KYGO?????!!!!!! Omg Shouldn't this be in dance tho? We need to wait until we see if it's Selenas lead or kygos before we decide
February 7, 20178 yr It should definitely remain in Pop if Selena is the lead artist. I just hope Kygo doesn't water down his sound for her or tries to copy The Chainsmokers/Major Lazer.
February 7, 20178 yr Don't know what to think of this - they're not two names I would have put together myself
February 9, 20178 yr Author Kygo posted a teaser of the track on Instagram and you could listen to it here.
February 9, 20178 yr Gives me slightly more uptempo 'Starving' vibes which means I am surely going to love the full thing!
February 9, 20178 yr Author Looks like this will be released next week. From Twitter: Get excited for #NewMusic! @KatyPerry tonight, @Maroon5/@1Future #Cold & a great new @SelenaGomez next wk, @Zedd/@AlessiaCara #Stay soon! Anyway, I'm intrigued why Kygo wasn't mentioned. Maybe because there weren't enough characters to include his name? Edited February 9, 20178 yr by Juan Carlos 🕊
February 13, 20178 yr Author Comes out this Thursday. From Instagram: #ItAintMe. Thursday. @kygomusic
February 13, 20178 yr Didn't seem to harm Major Lazer a couple of weeks ago! That was release Thursday evening was it not? 6 hours is different to 24, but I guess you're right :D Edited February 13, 20178 yr by mdh
February 13, 20178 yr We're in the era of OA/OS so it doesn't matter really. I'm literally the only person that loves high debuts in the charts for some reason so it really bothers me :') Edited February 13, 20178 yr by mdh
February 13, 20178 yr I'm literally the only person that loves high debuts in the charts for some reason so it really bothers me :') I love high debuts too but I care for longevity more. Especially since streaming kicked in! :D
February 13, 20178 yr I love high debuts too but I care for longevity more. Especially since streaming kicked in! :D Yeah, I get you! It's just always nice to have fresh tunes in the top 10, especially considering I usually love most songs when they come out and tire of them within a week or two, so by the time they do reach the top 10, I'm fed up of them. February 13, 20178 yr I like high debuts too as it shows the song is catching on better and if more songs had higher debuts in say the low top 20 at least, that would speed the chart up a bit Why is Selena putting on a Iselin Solheim type voice, I really don't like those type of voices for dance, better in folk/ indie imo, thats one of the things that put me off Faded by Alan Walker tbh. I see where you are coming from Tim, the tone of voice Selena puts on does make the vocal sound a little nursery rhyme-ish.
February 13, 20178 yr Author This is going to be released under Ultra Records and Interscope. That said, the credits are 'Kygo & Selena Gomez' instead of 'Selena Gomez & Kygo', so I assume this means that this thread should be moved to the Dance forum. From Twitter: .@KygoMusic x @selenagomez "It Ain't Me" goes to top 40 radio Feb. 28.
