BJSC Masquerade: Confirmation

Welcome to the confirmation stage, of this month's spinoff, the BJSC Masquerade, in which you pretend to be another country by submitting a song by an artist they have submitted in the past, like donning a mask and pretending that you have their awesome taste in comparison to your own merely mediocre taste. In this thread I am going to need you to do two things.

STEP 1. ASSIGNMENT

I have randomized a list containing the 42 countries who signed up over the weekend. Please pick a number from 1-43, by posting in this thread, to start the confirmation process. I will shortly thereafter contact you via PM informing you which country you have been assigned. I'm also going to ask that the first person to pick a number also picks one for me so I also get a random pick.

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 33, 34, 37, 39, 40, 41, 42

31, 32, 38

STEP 2. CONFIRMATION

Once you have received your number, you are all ready to begin the search and find your entry.

Rules

1. Confirm via this Google form

2. The song you confirm must be by an artist that has been credited on an entry submitted by your assigned country to a BJSC contest. Please check this thread or this thread and I suggest Ctrl + F for the country you've been given.

3. 'Standard' spinoff rules apply:

i) No songs that have charted in the UK top 20 (songs that charted lower may still be vetoed if they are deemed to be too well-known, though the veto will be much less strict than in a standard contest)

ii) No songs by artists who have artist forums on BuzzJack

iii) No songs that have previously appeared in the BuzzJack Song Contest or any of its spinoffs, check the threads given for this

iv) SPECIAL RULE: If by chance, you have recycled an artist from the country you have been assigned previously in another BJSC, or vice versa, you are restricted from using that artist again. To make it a little bit more challenging.

v) As with all BJSC, try your best to be inspired!

4. Deadline will be 19th Feburary 23:59 for the moment. Obviously I will try and get everyone who's signed up on board by then (i.e. I might chase you if not x)

5. This contest will be anonymous and you will be playing the part of a masked country. When the songs go up, the song you submitted will be under the name of the country you are recycling from, while a different song will be under your normal country name. Don't freak out about that.
