Found a song like yesterday but fell so in love with it I'm gonna save it for the main contest so I went with a different one

Much happier with the entry that's been chosen to rep Ashton now. ^_^

It's funny just reading this thread and seeing how everyone has approached choosing an entry, though of course the country they've been allocated makes a difference!

 

As I said before, the entry I've chosen is nothing I would personally send to represent me but I thought it was really fitting for the country. Also, after eliminating all the cheap artists, I struggled to find a song I could really get behind myself anyway that hadn't already been entered before.

And everyone's entered, meaning everyone who signed up has an entry representing them :D Final thread coming tomorrow/this evening hopefully.

Confirmed! Had been going back and forth between two tracks for the last little while but I've decided the one I didn't choose would be better used in a main BJSC or other forum contest, so no loss :wub:. That one's also more obviously something that'd appeal to me, whereas I think the track I've sent here is hopefully more representative of my disguise~

 

The country I'm masquerading as has an absolute treasure trove of (generally obscure) artists - was tough doing a thorough search and narrowing down. Well worth it for the discoveries though. <3

Really excited to find out what the Jadakissnia imposter has sent. jj is the only remotely cheap thing from my main contest entries really! So I'd love to see a main contest artist used for this. A bit more scope for cheapness from the spinoff entries with the likes of Glasvegas, Agnes and Lasgo. I suppose pop hoes only really have Agnes and Sonia y Selena as glaring options. :lol: Anyway, I hope to be impressed with whatever is selected!

 

Edit: Oh wait BJ10 doesn't count does it so no Agnes, poor pop hoes :kink:

Hey just quickly I have a mini idea for this!

I was thinking maybe suggesting this in the masquerade thread but I'm not sure but as like just for fun that when you send your votes, you also send a guess of the country that sent your entry? Or maybe even a separate prediction thread?

A prediction thread would be so cool ^^^ I'll set one up when the finals come out, if you want, Iz?

I'm happy with and encourage any and all prediction things you guys want to set up ^_^ People can definitely guess in their votes if they want to as well.

My country has previously entered a song that I considered myself so I've gone for a fairly new song from that artist. Don't expect them to be much of a fan but I could've easily gone quite cheap so I hope they approve of a more obscure choice

I've not listened to the song that Mr Bignia has sent, but the artist choice looks pretty random :lol: Gives me a slight feeling that this person isn't normally a fan of my entries :kink:

Seeing this at the top of the 'possible entries' thread reminded me how amazing it is, one of my favourite BJSC discoveries <3

there's like one song which could be sent which was one of my favourites of last year, but it's also v difficult to find on youtube so i doubt it's happened :'(

I'm not gonna lie, the BREADTH and DEPTH of my entry portfolio means I literally wouldn't even know where to begin as to what's going to be sent. I just hope it's something which puts MELODY at the forefront.
