March 6, 20178 yr Any artist with huge album success or who made a lot of commercial tracks pre-streaming really. Madonna, U2, Kate Bush, earlier Coldplay, Keane, One Direction of course, Westlife, Gaga - tracks like Dance in the Dark and Speechless, Amy Winehouse, Queen, Pink Floyd... loads really. Also any later singles from already successful albums.
March 6, 20178 yr Daft Punk had 3 album tracks make the OCC streaming chart top 10 upon album release in May 2013: 'Give Life Back To Music', 'Lose Yourself To Dance' and 'Instant Crush'. They all became singles later (to some degree), but they weren't at the time. http://www.officialcharts.com/charts/offic...0526/streamarc/ That said, I find it hard to see that happening if streaming was as big as it is now, or even at mid-2014 levels.
June 2, 20178 yr Author The Beatles returning to #1 got me thinking, if streaming existed in the 1960s the entirety of Sgt Peppers would've been in the top 20. Perhaps someone with more knowledge on them can predict which song on that album would've been #1 for ages (though I'd have guessed 'A Little Help From My Friends', considering three covers of it have gone to #1!).

'Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds' is the most downloaded and most streamed from the album according to this OCC report so maybe that one if not 'A Little Help From My Friends'.
June 2, 20178 yr Raining Men by Rihanna and Nicki Minaj I imagine would've done well. Possibly Numb with Eminem from Unapologetic too after the success their previous collaboration had. With Gaga I think Schiebe from the Born This Way would've been her most popular album track. Miley Cyrus' 4X4 and a lot of tracks from Adele's 25 in particular All I Ask.
