The good news: it looks like the 10 week run at #1 for 'Shape of You' could be coming to an end. The bad news: it seems it will only be replaced by 'Galway Girl'. Clean Bandit's new single, 'Symphony' - a collaboration with Zara Larsson - will be aiming for a big Top 10 debut whilst Martin Jensen's 'Solo Dance' and Anne-Marie's 'Ciao Adios' may also be able to break up an Ed Sheeran-dominant Top 10 too. Martin Solveig's 'Places' (featuring Ina Wroldsen) may climb into the Top 40 and Kasabian's comeback 'You're In Love With a Psycho' will be aiming to debut there too. Also, we shouldn't rule out possible entries from any of the 22 tracks of Drake's new mixtape More Life.

Ed Sheeran will be safe for a third week at #1 in the albums, with the aforementioned mixtape from Drake likely to be Top 10. Other big new entries will include Vera Lynn's new album that celebrates her 100th birthday (20th March), Depeche Mode's Spirit, Zara Larsson's So Good, Frances' Things I've Never Said and Rick Ross' Rather You Than Me. Also possibly entering could be greatest hits collections from rock'n'roll legend Chuck Berry, who passed away at 90 yesterday.

According to Mint Royale, Ed is #1, Depeche are #2 and Vera is ahead of Zara
I assume Drake will make the top 5 too

I think Drake is most likely looking at #3 at the most, Ed Sheeran and Vera Lynn albums are potential album buyers for Mother's Day market.

I think the album top 5 could end up as

1 Ed

2 Vera

3 Drake

4 Depeche Mode

5 Rag'N'Bone Man/ Zara

6 Zara/ Rag'N'Bone Man

Nah Mint says Depeche are too far ahead of both Zara and Vera although Streaming could help Zara against Vera if it's close

Depeche Mode's last two Studio Albums peaked at 2, wouldn't be surprised if they get three in a row. Amazing that "Violator" only got to number 2 as well - Classic Album!

At least they got to number 1 with the two Albums after "Violator".

I want Vera Lynn to be #1 solely so she can be the first 100 year old to score a #1 album.

I would too and there'll be a lot of TV promotion tomorrow but she won't dislodge Ed. :(

I think Drake is most likely looking at #3 at the most, Ed Sheeran and

Vera Lynn albums are potential album buyers for Mother's Day market.

Wouldn't that be more like great-grandmothers day market? :P

Wouldn't that be more like great-grandmothers day market? :P

Isn't grandparents day September 10th

I'm really dreading at the outcome of this week's singles chart come Friday :nocheer:
Really hoping that an living music legend in Vera Lynn can at least get Top3 in the albums chart. Hoping that she can dislodge Ed Sheeran but that is unlikely.
Slightly off topic but how many people listen to the charts audience wise could this potential lose them a lot of listeners
