It was a huge number one in France last year (6 weeks) and was generally big all across Europe so I was surprised that they seemingly never gave it a try here, but I guess they're only now starting to attempt to push it outside of Europe.

 

Hey, they only triggered Article 50 a few hours ago.

Anyway, I hear Lorde is being snubbed simply because the boss of Capital doesn't like the song :mellow:

Tbf, it's not as great or as life defining as a lot of people (not just on here) seem to suggest it is! But yeah, bosses like that should be unbiased! I wouldn't not play it just coz I didn't like it or whatever!

More like amazing news - this is a banger and a half :dance:

 

Up to 1:45 it sounds a bit like a Gary Barlow track imo. The singer even sounds like Gary Barlow a bit. :o

 

As a dance song, that bit of the song is rather dull therefore imo. There is a bit of trance reminiscence with the synths from 1:45 to 2:44, and is a good effect, so that is my favourite bit.

I notice 'Play That Song' is still holding up (although still a big difference in how it's performing on Spotify).

 

Is anywhere even playing it? I assume they must be.

Only Heart and (maybe R2?) are playing it atm!

 

It's 59p too so that's bound to be helping it a lot.
