Do any of you watch or record Classic Corrie in the afternoons on ITV3? They show two a day. It's great, better than the current Corrie and they're up to April 1991 now.

I watch it all the time, from the beginning when they first started showing it on itv3. I missed a couple months around the time when Brian died, but I always try not to miss an episode now. I watch that more than regular corrie :lol:

 

I often have to record it (hate that its not on the itv hub), but sometimes I find the episodes on youtube if I want to watch it on my iPad or tv upstairs :)

Most are on YT but not every one. If it's a big story-line, like the one when Brian died, ITV block it.

I've always wondered why they don't show it on the itv hub, I think I read somewhere ages ago that its something to do with regular corrie being on there but they could always call this one 'classic corrie' so there is no confusion.

Something to do with legal issues someone on Digital Spy said. Apparently that was the reason at the start of these repeats but you'd think they could have sorted such issues out by now. It's been on 15 months.

 

Yesterday's first one isn't on YT. :angry:

I often like to binge watch them on youtube, but then I get to an episode that isn't on and have to wait until ITV3 catch up with me and show it :lol:

Me too :lol: There's something about him but yet I feel kinda gross about it :lol:

Gemma's brother is an intriguing character and i agree he really has that something.

Glad I'm not the only one :lol: His heart is probably in the right place, you've got to love a diamond in the rough bad boy.

 

I think Abi has to be my current fave, her with Gail, Sally and Yasmeen tonight was hilarious :lol: She's got right balance of heart, comic relief and can be a damn good actress in serious things when she has to as well.

one positive is it’s end of Kana (it ruined Rana’s potential imo but we’ll have to put up with miserable Kate for months now :lol:

Abi is the best thing to happen to this show in YEARS

I simply cant connect to the Sinead cancer storyline.

Had the storyline gone to a better character it could have much more emotional.

omg IKR, two of the worst characters in the show being made as some ultra romantic pairing, yuck x I'm sick of Gemma appearing in every episode, I don't get why we're meant to like her? her brother's even worse *__*

 

I'm not really sure what's happened to this show, it's become so bad recently. It's made me yearn for Phelan etc which I never thought I would a year ago :lol: Deadwood characters are being pushed to the front of the show and everything feels so stale.

This whole Nick as a villain thing is super boring too, ik he stole Audrey's money to pay back Elsa but now he's suddenly trying to go for this whole threatening villain vibe always there brooding and looming over everything and it just doesn't work.
