The Nick storyline doesn't work, i do agree.

The storyline in general is hard to get behind.

Norris returns in April. Malcolm Hebden started filming on Tuesday after a break for illness. Norris has a companion. A wife! He's married Emily's mute niece Freya. One problem. Isn't he supposed to be married to Mary?

This bail house saga is so stupid, as if even Izzy hasn't been to jail and convicted murderer Tracey Barlow doesn't freely roam the street
I hope they pull of an actual shock death but I can't see it  I suppose this story seems to be more about the long term.
Realistically Sally shouldn’t survive that but really she deserves something better if she is to have an exit. The rest of the others trapped in there can all perish

I'd be beyond shook if it was Sally but they wouldn't write out such an iconic character like that in a shock. They should have done something bigger and axed some deadwood tbh, there's a fair few floating around.

Arguably in terms of the stories it will set up, Rana dying (plausible, she could be drawn in to help as a her nurse instincts kick in and then more of the roof falls) would have among the biggest impact (not just Kate's grief, Alya's misery part 732 as they've just got back on track but also it would set the family against Carla I assume given how it would affect Kate which would tie in with Carla's current downward spiral). It's a shame as she's so much more likeable than Kate :(

Rana

That was heartbreaking, she was so much more likeable than Kate. I knew she would be the one dying the entire time but they really had to drag it out didn't they? Like really, they were in no rush to get her out were they??

WHY couldn't it have been f***ing Sean or Kirk  :manson:

Alison King is such an amazing actress. That was raw.

Alison King is really going to shine in this storyline, ofc she'll have the family turn on her as well and have nobody but Peter.

We don't need Peter and Carla again though :drama: I liked him and Abi actually, if Carla and Peter got together he'd only cheat on her with Abi anyway

I'm so sad Rana is gone, that was worth it though as an episode (the end got a bit OTT dramatic and pushing heartbreak with their deathbed "wedding" though). Short of them killing off a massive character like Sally or Gail or sth, with the timing of it and the situation, I don't think many possibilities could have been as impactful as Rana dying.

I thought the casualty was going to be a surprise, known for weeks Rana is leaving. I wish it was Kate under that rubble though, her crying and wailing is the worst.

Agree about Rana - why couldn't it have been the other way around (Kate is just dreadful - the actress leaves a lot to be desired). The only person who evoked any emotion in me was Imran - a beautifully understated performance. I don't normally like Carla and think Alison King is very overrated - but her and Peter tonight were good.

I liked the David / Nick scene.

I never used to hate Kate as much as everyone else, but since Aiden died she's just been abhorrent. Her and Rana being a great, strong couple was the only thing she had going for her, she made Aiden's suicide all about her and she'll do the same with Rana I'm sure.

Tbh I can’t say I’m sad as ‘Kana’ were toxic and had zero chemistry, but it should’ve been Kate :(
