It only occurred to me on Friday how absent Sineads family were in all of this storyline.

 

I know she calls her auntie Beth all the time but I wish Beth had just been her mam now.

 

Her own mam was nowhere to be seen until Fridays episode. She was the same actress to play Theresa Mcqueens mam in HO wasn’t she :lol:

 

Yesterday’s episode wasn’t too great though for the aftermath.

 

But fridays episode was really great.

 

Sinead was the best part of the show for weeks now though for me. I’m actually going to miss her.

I expect they didn't think she would last as long as she did so made her what could potentially be a fleeting relative of Beth but it turned out that she lasted a long time on the show? But that doesn't explain why they didn't have her family involved in this storyline, like she was dying and they seemed not to care until she was hours from death! I know that they aren't regular characters but they could have popped in or at least been mentioned as visiting by Daniel or something. Also when she came she said she lived with her mum and sisters and we never saw her sisters, perhaps at the funeral.

Daniel gets knocked down by a car soon whilst crossing the road and not concentrating but isn't seriously hurt. He finds it harder and harder to cope with life and the baby without Sinead.

Corrie on tonight at 8.30 again. Still catching up when they missed 4 with the football.

I hope Daniel and Bertie come back for Sinead's funeral. Surely they will.

I’ve actually enjoyed some of the more light hearted stuff we’ve had this week like Sally getting Nigellas Spag Bol tipped over her head :lol: :w00t:

 

And the wedding last night to I’m coming out and David still in his prison uniform.

Sally is always a joy.

Are the scriptwriters lost with Roy, they dont seem to know what to do with his character anymore.

 

Funny you should say that Pippa as Roy has a big storyline coming soon.

 

 

 

Roy's wayward niece, a Goth I think it said, comes looking for him soon as she has nowhere to stay. Uncle Roy is not impressed at all.

Should be good with some comedy moments so I've read.

So Roy's niece made here debut. Assume Roy's brother dies and she goes to live with Roy. Maybe become the street's new baddie? Could team her up with Gary Windass.

Michelle's a woman scorned and out for vengeance. Going to get his name off the factory ownership now. No more than he deserves. Cheating rat.
