That's what I never understand, how some random person just appears and says whatever they want and everyone believes them over one of their friends who they've known years just for the sake of a bit of a storyline :lol:

As well as everyone being quick to turn on someone, why have they all been wrongly imprisoned :lol: also is there one couple on the street that hasn’t cheated?

 

Lol the wrongly imprisoned is such a soap cliche now. Deirdre set the trend! (Was she the first or just the first who got an impression across media).

Yes, think she's only on maternity leave.

She is also only taken a 4 month maternity break which is shorter than most.

I assume she will come back and take time off again.

 

Fizz is right to not let Jade have anything to do with Hope. She's obviously not the full shilling and you never know what she'll do next.

I hope we see more of Jade but it’s hard to see how she could be a long term character with what she’s done.

 

There’s scope for her to be redeemed though.

 

What I really want though is a return from the iconic Kirsty! She could turn up to the street having had therapy (or say she has.) and ask for some visits with Ruby. Even if it’s just a short visit she’s one character from the past who could return who I’d love to see back.

I’m a bit sad he got an off screen death.

 

Because he was an original character and one who could return I hoped we’d see him back and that If he were to die it would be on screen.

 

I take it that the actor was happy for them to do so though.

It says in that article she's not leaving :lol: It may just be a small part in Casualty and she isn't in corrie that much either.

I love him as an actor because he’s brilliant and the story is Corrie’s best right now too but I was screaming at the TV when catching up on Mondays episode. However as he filmed Yasmeen I was thinking someone’s bound to end up watching that :unsure: :unsure:

 

I’m hoping that the story doesn’t end in his death though. I really want him to properly face the consequences of what he’s done but I’ll be sad when he does go because he’s a great actor (BSA Villain of year pls).

The episode was good in places but stupid in other parts.

 

I knew the ambulance would go straight over those ashes like who would just place them like that in the middle of a parking area :lol:

 

I enjoyed how we seen a mix of characters together who aren’t usually on screen together though. But I just don’t find Mary funny in the slightest so her involvement was a downer for me.

Hopefully Ken will be back in December for the 60th anniversary

 

Ken’s still going to be in the show he just won’t be living on the street :)

I'm glad that Alya is onto Geoff, hopefully she'll be the one to uncover the truth and expose his abuse.

When is Bethany leaving? She was great and Lucy is a good actress who I’m sure will get other work

 

However recently I just haven’t enjoyed her character tbh. The Daniel connection is a bit awkward and her turning into some sort of vigilante as well yeah she can go (hopefully her exit is her leaving to do that journalism course so she gets a happy ending she deserves that) but for now she’s kinda ran her course.
