Back to 6 episodes a week from w/c September 14th. TBH I prefer just 3 a week.
I was gonna say there's not a huge amount going on and they should leave it as it is because it'll drag to watch them all but really it's BECAUSE of there being less episodes that it's dragging, obviously with only 3 episodes in a week you've got half the chance for anything to happen, storylines go half as slow, so it feels like we're getting nowhere and hopefully going back up to 6 makes the show kick into gear a bit more. The Geoff stuff kinda feels like it's dragging, as great as everyone involved is and I can't wait for his comeuppance or what twists there might be, it feels like it will never come.

Loved the ending to Wednesdays episode and the scenes with Tim and Geoff as he discovered the truth were brilliant.

Geoffs face as he was taken away by police! I wonder what else will be found on that laptop too they managed to find one video but we all know Geoffs done so much more than what Tim, Sally and Faye seen.

It’s weird that I’ll actually miss Geoff when he goes though because throughout this story he’s been amazing and he’s literally the most unpopular character on tv right now but that’s a testament to how well he’s acted.

New Shona really was bad tonight. It’s awful they’re trying to turn her condition into some comedy like routine every episode but it’s getting stupid now.

At least we were spared her famous “Have I done something wrong” line tonight but her on the trampoline was just silly. And the whole sinkhole plot in general was tbh.

I did like the fact Natasha is back as she’s played by a great actress. Nick having a son or does he? The Oliver story is hard hitting but as bad as this sounds because Steve’s involved heavily in it I sort of don’t feel as much impact as I should as he’s not really the greatest actor in the world when he’s given dramatic material he works better in less serious type stories.

Sean was also bad tonight as usual.

I agree. Don't like new Shona at all.

I can’t stand the goth one in the cafe! Such a terrible actress and the character is just pointless! That’s the problem with Corrie too many irritating pointless characters like Sean, Gemmas mum, the Goth one... thankfully the greats like Sally make up for it ❤️

I have to say that Nina (the goth  ) is one of the better characters for me.

She stands out, she’s actually been capable of having some stories and a few sides to her personality as well she’s feisty but she’s a good friend to Asha and Shona. I’m quite a fan of her.

So back to 6 episodes a week. Well Fridays apparently will be an hour long episode from now on, 7.30 to 8.30.

Not a fan of either of tonight’s episodes.

The sink hole story is a bit blah and Ray isn’t as exciting in the villain stakes yet it still isnt making sense what the point of the story was.

Glad that Natasha is back but blah at the story of that too a bit predictable.

Oliver’s story is distressing :( but Steve is the weak link of it all like he just can’t do the story justice.

Agreed. Both episodes were a bit weak tonight.

Im kinda the same on these points, but so far the oliver storyline isnt ringing home with me, as a parent i can usually relate strongly to child illness related storylines and while Steve is the weak link Leanne isnt much better and usually Jane Dawson can hook me in with her emotions when doing a good storyline.

Maybe it's not nice to say this but I'm bored with the Oliver storyline. Prefer the Geoff and Platts storylines.

Last night's flower antics were just embarrassing :/

Nah I agree, sounds awful but I'm almost just waiting for him to die because I think how they cope afterwards will be the meat of the storyline and as it is, it's somewhat going in circles. Somehing like a child dying should be a heartbreaking storyline you're invested in, but I'm just... not.

Brian was appalling!

The flower saga and the barring people from the shop was probably meant to be hilarious but it just wasn’t at all.

What the hell was with Toyah, Michael and that man in the factory too that was just silly.

The only real part of last nights two episodes what was good was Geoff and Daniel.

With Oliver’s story too I think the fact it mainly involves Steve is what’s letting it down. He really really can’t act serious scenes well at all. Jane Danson will be fantastic when Oliver passes away but at the moment I don’t really think it’s being written well enough and as viewers it’s hard to really understand exactly what is wrong with Oliver.
