It is said that Gary hears Faye's muffled cries from the office and Faye emerges crying with her clothes ripped. The assault will leave Faye traumatized.

I had a feeling that they would go down this route with Ray and Faye.

Jane delivered some really moving scences on friday only to be letdwon down by simon who was as stiff as a board in all the scenes.

Yes he's not a very good actor is he?

Steve was the weak link in the story tbh. I mean he was better than usual but the actor isn’t the best at issue led stories it was the same when he had the depression storyline he’s just not convincing enough.

Jane Danson was brilliant as Leanne though! Fridays episode would’ve worked better in my opinion if they had them singing to Oliver as the final scene leading into the credits but without the theme tune. I think there’s some occasions where they should axe the credits when and an episode like this was one of those times it’s only a small thing but it would’ve been so much more impactful.

Shame on Faye for giving in to Ray. What kind of message does that send to young women viewers?
Not to do what she did?

Well maybe...or to copy what she did. :(

i'm presuming that Yasmeen is going to be found guilty as Geoff is planning to start a new life with his new girlfriend and if she were not guilty, wouldn't he be arrested for cohesive abuse... obviously hes set to attack Alaya and attempt to burn down Yasmeen's house?

Yes I think she'll be found guilty

I’d like Geoff to survive and have a final showdown with Yasmeen with Yasmeen being victorious

Yes that would be great. A real hard fight and she kills him in self-defence.

No I don’t want her to kill him in self defence, ideally I would like for her to visit him in prison, I’d be disappointed if he died in anyway.
Imran was brilliant tonight, hero *.* God he is SO attractive too, like good LORD.

This  more than once now I’ve woken up to find I’ve sent him love hearts over Instagram when drunk the night before.

I'm really pleased that it's been confirmed the non-guilty verdict is by no means the end to this storyline. Shelley King is spot on - there is a duty of care and to play out the abuse but not recognise and explore the effects that has on a person even after they've broken the control would only give half the picture. Unfortunately, a lot of soaps recently like to play out the drama and shocks and twists for the sake of brief Twitter moments but not consider the actual story (looking at you EastEnders).

The trial was excellently handled and the counterclaim is the right route to take with the storyline.
Well I thought tonight’s episode looked really naff towards the end.
