Posted April 1, 20179 yr 'La Isla Bonita' has influenced a lot of Madonna's music so I've collected the most obvious examples to rank: La Isla Bonita qqIIW7nxBgc Who's That Girl? _KKGHOdU3HA Pray for Spanish Eyes IlYJYQ3d_sk I'm Going Bananas wb33asLqcJM You'll See zyFzpBAZICc Spanish Lesson G10wQTxV7tU
April 1, 20179 yr 01 You'll See 02 La Isla Bonita 03 Pray For Spanish Eyes 04 Who's That Girl 05 Spanish Lesson 06 I'm Going Bananas I love them all though, the top 3 are among her very best (the first two would be in my Madonna top 10, Spanish Eyes top 25). I'm Going Bananas is novelty fluff, I can understand why a lot of people hate it with the stupid voice and nonsense lyrics but it's just a bit of fun and doesn't outstay it's welcome thanks to a very short run time.
April 1, 20179 yr 1. La Isla Bonita 2. Who's That Girl 3. You'll See 4. Pray For Spanish Eyes 5. Spanish Lesson 6. I'm Going Bananas
April 2, 20179 yr Author My rank: 01) You'll See 02) La Isla Bonita 03) Pray for Spanish Eyes 04) Who's That Girl? 05) I'm Going Bananas 06) Spanish Lesson The Top 3 is so strong! 'Pray for Spanish Eyes' is one of Madonna's strongest album tracks - I absolutely adore the strained vocal in the chorus - and 'You'll See' possibly ranks in my personal Top 10. 'Who's That Girl?' usually gets dubbed the 'La Isla Bonita Mark 2' but it's a solid song in its own right. Even though I probably wouldn't refer to it as such, it definitely feels like a classic Madonna track when you listen to it.

WAIT, you love 'Spanish Lesson' too? :o Admittedly it's not as bad as I remembered it to be - it's mainly the "I just wanna fall in laaaaaaarve" and "if you do your homework" lyrics that put me off the song - but it's still the poorest track on Hard Candy and the only one I skip (yes, I even quite like 'Incredible'! ).
June 28, 20179 yr I vote for Who's That Girl, but of course La Isla Bonita is all kinds of fabulous too.
July 4, 20179 yr I voted La Isla Bonia and Who's That Girl although there is a HUGE divide after my favourite on the list.. 1. La Isla Bonita 2. Who's That Girl? 3. Pray for Spanish Eyes 4. You'll See 5. Spanish Lesson 6. I'm Going Bananas Some INCREDIBLE, some GHASTLY :'))
July 11, 20179 yr La Isla Bonita knocks the breath out of most pop releases from the past decade, much less those other choices.
